Some say breastfeeding is easy, but it may not come naturally for every mummy and baby. With a little help from your lactation fairy godmother 🪄, anything is possible 😉✨

My breastfeeding story:

I never imagined my breastfeeding journey would begin with my baby being a month away from me!

My son spent his first month in the NICU after birth, and as a new mother, I felt so helpless being separated from him.

The one thing I felt that I could do was expressing my breastmilk and send it over to him. My husband would travel back and forth between the confinement centre and the hospital, sometimes three times a day, just to deliver my milk.

And that was only the beginning of our breastfeeding journey.

We continued for over three years, we faced many challenges through recurrent blocked ducts, mastitis, and many moments of doubt…you name it. But somehow, we kept going — one day at a time.

Today, receiving this award feels incredibly special to me. It’s a reminder of the commitment I made to my son, the challenges we’ve overcome, and just how far we’ve come together.

And honestly, I’m really proud of our journey.

Happy Breastfeeding Week! 🤱
Thank you BORNEO SPECIALIST HOSPITAL SDN BHD Baby World for the special award and gifts ❤️
