REACHING THE CHILDREN: MEDICAL OUTREACH AT THE IDP CAMP

On 27th September 2026, RCN Medical Missions was at the IDP Camp (International Market), in collaboration with Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF), with one clear purpose: to reach the children. ❤️

A total of 123 children received free medical care, including:
🩺 Vital signs checks
👨‍⚕️ Free medical consultations
🧪 Laboratory investigations where required
💊 Free medications

Beyond routine consultations, we also attended to 6 cases of injuries, providing the necessary treatment and care.

We were also able to provide treatment for Tinea capitis (scalp ringworm) in 3 children, addressing a health condition that can significantly affect a child's comfort, confidence, and wellbeing.

Beyond the numbers, we saw children who deserve to be cared for, protected, heard, and given hope.

We deeply appreciate the efforts of Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) for their continued commitment to reaching out to children affected by difficult circumstances. We are grateful for every hand, heart, organization, and individual contributing to this important work.
May God strengthen every hand actively involved in reaching the affected, vulnerable, and less privileged.
May He provide resources where needed, open doors for greater impact, and reward every act of love and service.
May grace abound unto us all. 🙏❤️

REACHING THE CHILDREN: FELLOWSHIP, DISTRIBUTIONS, DEWORMING CAMPAIGN AND TREATMENT OF TINEA CAPITIS

On 24th September 2026, RCN Medical Missions at the IDP Mega Camp took to the care of the children.
We began with a beautiful time of children’s fellowship and ministration, this was followed by a health education on personal hygiene, healthy living, and the importance of caring for their bodies. We then distributed useful items to the children
Afterwards, we took to battle against worm infestations, skin infections, and scalp infections, including Tinea capitis (ringworm of the scalp). The children's living environment, coupled with challenges around access to hygiene facilities and adequate personal care, has increased their vulnerability to these conditions.
Through generous support from UVOL Foundation and Collaboration Santé Internationale, we received donations of Albendazole tablets, enabling us to provide deworming treatment to the children who were present.
We treated children affected by Tinea capitis, and provided Tethmosol soap and antifungal ointments as part of the intervention.

The need is unending, the work is enormous, but God is with us🙌🙌

Dignity, Health: RCN Medical Missions Distribution of Menstrual hygiene materials at the IDP Mega Camp; 24th September

About three to four months ago, RCN Medical Missions identified a deeply concerning need among women living in the IDP camp.
It was discovered that during their monthly menstrual flow, most, if not all, of the women were compelled to use unhygienic materials to manage their periods mostly because they simply lack access to the basic menstrual hygiene materials
This gave us a call to action.
We began working towards providing menstrual hygiene materials for these women, because we believe that every woman deserves to experience her menstrual cycle with dignity, safety, comfort, and good reproductive health.
We commenced the distribution of menstrual hygiene materials in June this year, we've revisited the agenda about three times, and did so on Thursday the 24th of this month.

We trust God for continued provision and for more people to join us in sustaining this essential work. Every pad, every contribution, and every act of kindness makes a difference.
Our heartfelt appreciation goes to our supporters, especially Sister Esther Okojie and Sister Nicole Tiovanni, for giving towards
this cause. May God bless the work of your hands and continually replenish your pockets.
We also celebrate and deeply appreciate our Mother, Mummy Dinna Osayi, for her continual support and unwavering commitment towards the care and wellbeing of women and children. May God continually strengthen and honour you, ma.
And to our Father, Apostle Arome Osayi, thank you for being a vessel through whom compassion, service, and love continue to reach those in need.
By God's grace, we will keep reaching out, keep caring, and keep serving.

🩺 RCN MEDICAL MISSIONS AT TIVID ORPHANAGE HOME — 12TH ANNIVERSARY MEDICAL OUTREACH

RCN Medical Missions coordinated and executed a one-day medical outreach at Tivid Orphanage Home on 29th August 2026, as part of activities set out by the leadership of the Orphanage Home to mark their 12th anniversary, since inception.
Amongst other meaningful activities organized in celebration of the anniversary, the medical outreach was one of the ways set out to care for and celebrate the lives within and those around the Tivid community.
A total of 80 persons were attended to, ranging from very young babies to the elderly. Beneficiaries received free checks, free medical consultations, free medications, and selected free investigations where necessary.
The early birds, who were predominantly children, also enjoyed a comprehensive health education session, creating an opportunity to learn important lessons about healthy living and personal wellbeing.
We are especially grateful for the opportunity to work with the children. Their smiles, enthusiasm and openness made the experience truly memorable. ❤️

Rovi Pharmacy also supported the Tivid orphanage outreach by providing additional medications thereby contributing to the success of the initiative.

To the leadership, staff and entire Tivid Orphanage family, we say: CONGRATULATIONS on 12 remarkable years of impact, service and giving hope to children and families. 🎉. We celebrate this milestone with you and look forward to partnering with you and being a blessing to the Tivid Orphanage in greater dimensions in the years ahead.
