🚨 Arsenal Face Champions League Draw Restriction

Arsenal already know there is one Champions League fixture they cannot be handed this season — even before the league-phase draw is completed.

The Gunners will not be able to face Inter Milan away at the San Siro in the 2026/27 league phase because UEFA’s rules prevent the same home fixture between two clubs from being repeated for three consecutive seasons.

Arsenal and Inter have faced each other in each of the last two Champions League campaigns. Inter won the first meeting in November 2024, while Arsenal got their revenge with a 3–1 victory in January 2026.

However, Arsenal can still face Inter at the Emirates, and the two clubs could also meet in the knockout stages.

Interestingly, Liverpool are facing a similar restriction: another Champions League league-phase meeting with Real Madrid at Anfield is ruled out after the Spanish giants lost there in each of the previous two campaigns.
