*DANGERS OF SELF-MEDICATION* (Taking drugs without doctor's prescription)

*1. Wrong Diagnosis:*
You may be treating malaria but it is typhoid. Drug will not work and sickness gets worse.

*2. Drug Overdose / Underdose:*
Too much drug can damage liver, kidney, heart. Too little will not cure and will make germs stronger.

*3. Drug Resistance:*
When you don't complete antibiotics or take wrong ones, germs learn to resist it. Next time that drug will not work for you again.

*4. Harmful Side Effects & Allergies:*
Some drugs cause serious reaction - rashes, swelling, breathing problem, stomach bleeding. Doctor knows what is safe for you.

*5. Death:*
Mixing drugs wrongly (e.g. paracetamol + alcohol, or many drugs at once) can kill.

*6. Hides Serious Disease:*
Pain drugs may hide pain of ulcer, appendix, etc. So you delay real treatment.

*7. Addiction:*
Some cough syrups, pain killers, sleeping tablets can make you addicted if you take them yourself.

*Rule:* Always see a doctor or pharmacist before taking any drug. If you are sick now, please talk to a healthcare professional at your nearest clinic.
