DAY 2 | SERVICE BEYOND THE WHITE COAT 🩺💚
Day 2 of the PSN-YPG Bayelsa State Week 2026 took us from conversations to community impact as we brought healthcare closer to the people of Ekeki Community, Yenagoa.
Through our medical outreach, over 150 beneficiaries received free medical consultations, medications and health education, reinforcing our commitment to accessible, safe and quality healthcare for all.
Led by the State Coordinator, PSN-YPG Bayelsa State, our team of young pharmacists and dedicated volunteers came together to serve, educate and make a meaningful difference in the lives of members of the community.
This outreach is a reflection of our theme:
“Policies, Leadership and Governance in Medicine Safety and Security: Positioning Young Pharmacists in Bayelsa as Key Stakeholders.”
As young pharmacists, we believe our responsibility extends beyond the pharmacy and hospital. We must be present in our communities, understand their needs and actively contribute to solving healthcare challenges.
A huge thank you to our volunteers, partners, supporters and the good people of Ekeki Community for making this outreach a success. 💚
Young Pharmacists. Meaningful Impact. Healthier Communities.
