This ‘Kitsune’ piece I custom designed to cover an old tattoo and transform it into this upperarm piece full of movement and life. Every tail of the kitsune comes through time and grows with more wisdom. With a maximum of nine tails the Kitsune will now be fully developed into a creature full of wisdom.
I made sure to draw these tails in the right directions to create a flow, with additions of cherryblossom flower and bell ropes blowing with the wind. All flowing with the triceps towards the biceps. Making sure to go past the elbow to avoid blank spaces in the future. That all is done with a tactical placement to cover the old tattoo as best I can do!

Betrouwbaarheid en kwaliteit staat altijd voorop! Vooral als het om het zetten van een tattoo gaat! Ons moeder zei altijd ‘kost weh moar doar betoalde dan ok veur!’ En zo is het maar net!
Je kan wel gaan bezuinigen op het zetten van een plaatje, maar dat zijn de cover ups voor morgen! En laat ik dat nu net leuk vinden om van jouw zolderkamer of kelder prikseltje een mooi kunstwerk te maken!
Dus kijk vooral even naar mijn portfolio en vergeet daarna niet te DM’en!

Ever had this happen?
You’re having a nice conversation with your tattoo artist, you’re all laughing and having fun together. The tattoo hurts a bit but hey… it’s worth it! So you laugh through the pain and suddenly forget it because you’re sitting more relaxed through out the session. And all of a sudden she turns your arm… and then this happens!

All covered up!
For this project I only knew a couple details…
She wanted Neo-traditional Japanese style, and loves flowers and animal tattoos. Just from that info I started to draw. Showed her the design and she immediately liked what she saw. The only thing was that she needed to be sure we where on the same idea level of combining color and detail. So I did that towards the day of tattooing. Showed her and got a green light.
Now everytime I see her she tells me how happy she is, and with her the people around her tell me as well.
That’s why I do what I do. Making people happy is the goal I want to reach every day.
