Een volgende stap binnen het OPZUID INTELLECTUALS project!

Onlangs bracht onze R&D Scientist Nick Breuer een bezoek aan Elsa Lauwers van chiron om te onderzoeken hoe goed het hydrogelplatform van Hy2Care® samengaat met het joint-on-a-chip-model van chiron.

Tijdens deze werksessie werd ons hydrogelplatform getest in het joint-on-a-chip-systeem. De eerste resultaten zijn veelbelovend en bieden interessante aanknopingspunten voor verder onderzoek naar de toepassing van ons hydrogelplatform in geavanceerde in vitro-modellen.

Door deze samenwerking combineren we onze kennis van hydrogeltechnologie met de expertise van chiron op het gebied van joint-on-a-chip-modellen. Zo leren we van elkaar en onderzoeken we samen nieuwe toepassingsmogelijkheden van onze technologie.

Another step forward within the OPZUID INTELLECTUALS project.

Recently, R&D Scientist Nick Breuer visited Elsa Lauwers from chiron to explore the compatibility of Hy2Care’s hydrogel platform with chiron’s joint-on-a-chip model.

During the session, our hydrogel platform was evaluated in the joint-on-a-chip system, with promising first results. These initial findings provide a valuable starting point for further research into the combination of our hydrogel platform and advanced in vitro models.

Collaborations like this bring together our expertise in hydrogel technology and chiron’s expertise in joint-on-a-chip models, helping us learn from each step and further explore new applications of our technology.

Met trots kunnen we delen dat Hy2Care® het ISO 13485:2016-certificaat heeft behaald voor ons kwaliteitsmanagementsysteem als wettelijk fabrikant, gecertificeerd door BSI.

ISO 13485 is de internationaal erkende norm voor kwaliteitsmanagementsystemen binnen de medische hulpmiddelenindustrie. Het behalen van deze certificering is een belangrijke mijlpaal voor Hy2Care® en onderstreept de hoge kwaliteitseisen die zijn verankerd in onze manier van werken.

Tegelijkertijd zetten we hiermee weer een belangrijke stap richting ons doel om onze CartRevive® hydrogel implantaattechnologie beschikbaar te maken voor patiënten wereldwijd.

We are proud to announce that Hy2Care® has obtained ISO 13485:2016 certification for our Quality Management System as a legal manufacturer, certified by BSI.

ISO 13485 is the internationally recognised standard for quality management systems in the medical device industry. Achieving this certification is an important milestone for Hy2Care and reflects the quality standards embedded in the way we work.

It also marks another important step in our journey towards bringing our CartRevive® hydrogel implant technology to patients worldwide.

𝗡𝗲𝗴𝗲𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗽 𝗕𝗼𝗯 𝟭𝟮,𝟱 𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿

Bob liep kraakbeenschade op in zijn knie en was een van de patiënten die deelnam aan de ACTIVE klinische studie van Hy2Care®. Hij werd behandeld met het Hy2Care® CartRevive® hydrogelimplantaat van . Dit vormt tijdelijk een matrix in het beschadigde gebied, waarin de lichaamseigen kraakbeencellen nieuw kraakbeen kunnen aanmaken.

Zes maanden na de behandeling begon Bob weer met hardlopen. Drie maanden later liep hij een trailrun van 12,5 kilometer.

Zijn verhaal is te lezen in een recent artikel van Mediahuis NRC over de groeiende betekenis van regeneratieve geneeskunde: een aanpak die niet alleen gericht is op het behandelen van klachten, maar het lichaam helpt om beschadigd weefsel te herstellen.

Het verhaal van Bob is de ervaring van één patiënt binnen een klinische studie. Tegelijkertijd laat het zien wat regeneratieve geneeskunde voor patiënten zou kunnen betekenen: functie herstellen en weer kunnen doen wat ze graag doen.

Voor de ontwikkeling van innovaties zoals CartRevive® is meer nodig dan technologie alleen. Als onderdeel van het ecosysteem van Brightlands Chemelot Campus heeft Hy2Care® toegang tot de kennis, faciliteiten en samenwerkingen die nodig zijn om regeneratieve technologieën verder te brengen van onderzoek naar klinische toepassing.

Dat is wat ons drijft: nieuwe behandelopties ontwikkelen die patiënten kunnen helpen om weer te doen wat ze graag doen.

𝗡𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵𝘀 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿, 𝗕𝗼𝗯 𝗿𝗮𝗻 𝟭𝟮.𝟱 𝗸𝗺

Bob suffered cartilage damage in his knee and was one of the patients who participated in Hy2Care’s ACTIVE clinical study. He was treated with Hy2Care’s CartRevive® hydrogel implant, which forms a temporary matrix in the damaged area, allowing the body’s own cartilage cells to create new cartilage.

Six months after treatment, Bob started running again. Three months later, he completed a 12.5 km trail run.

His story is featured in a recent article published by Mediahuis NRC about the growing importance of regenerative medicine: an approach that aims not only to treat symptoms, but to help the body restore damaged tissue.

Bob’s story is one patient experience within a clinical study, but it shows what regenerative medicine could mean for patients: helping them regain function and return to the activities they love the most.

Developing innovations like CartRevive® requires more than technology alone. Being part of the Brightlands Chemelot Campus ecosystem gives Hy2Care access to the expertise, facilities and collaborations needed to help bring regenerative technologies from research towards clinical application.

Leo Smit, CEO Hy2Care, en Sanna Severins, COO Hy2Care, zijn volgende week aanwezig bij het congres van de ICRS International Cartilage Regeneration & Joint Preservation Society in Porto.

Tijdens het congres presenteert Leo het Hy2Care CartRevive® hydrogelimplantaat en de mogelijkheden die deze technologie biedt voor het oplossen van kraakbeenschade in de knie.

CartRevive® vormt een tijdelijke matrix in het beschadigde gebied, waarin lichaamseigen cellen nieuw kraakbeen kunnen aanmaken. De technologie is ontwikkeld om het natuurlijke herstel van kraakbeen te ondersteunen, met als doel de resultaten voor patiënten op de lange termijn te verbeteren.

Volgende week reizen Leo Smit en Sanna Severins af naar Seattle voor de jaarlijkse bijeenkomst van de Society for Sports Medicine

Met meer dan 2.000 professionals uit de sportgeneeskunde van over de hele wereld is dit congres dé plek om in contact te komen met vooraanstaande clinici, onderzoekers en experts uit de industrie die zich inzetten voor de verdere ontwikkeling van de patiëntenzorg.

Voor Hy2Care® biedt de AOSSM daarnaast een mooie gelegenheid om in gesprek te gaan met potentiële klinische en strategische partners die geïnteresseerd zijn in samenwerking rondom de Amerikaanse klinische studie met het CartRevive® hydrogel implantaat. Deze studie bouwt voort op de veelbelovende resultaten van onze Europese klinische studie, waarin verbeterde KOOS-scores en MRI-bevestigde weefselvorming werden aangetoond.

Next week, Leo Smit and Sanna Severins will be in Seattle for the American American Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM) annual meeting in Seattle.

Attending this event with over 2,000 professionals from all over the world is a great way to connect with like-minded experts in the medical field.

For Hy2Care®, the AOSSM also provides an opportunity to connect with potential clinical and strategic partners interested in collaborating on the U.S. clinical study of the CartRevive® hydrogel implant. This study will build on the encouraging results from our European clinical trial, which demonstrated improved KOOS scores and MRI-confirmed tissue formation.

Het doel is om deze technologie toe te passen in een geavanceerd cartilage-on-a-chip-systeem: de INTELLECTUALS-chip (IN-Chip), waarmee kraakbeenonderzoek efficiënter en op grotere schaal kan worden uitgevoerd.

Dankzij de samenwerking met CHILL kunnen we expertise, faciliteiten en talentontwikkeling bundelen. Zo versnellen we gezamenlijk innovatie op het gebied van regeneratieve geneeskunde en kraakbeenherstel.

Within this project, Hy2Care® is working on the further diversification and characterization of the CartRevive® hydrogel implant technology. The main goal is to apply this technology to a high-throughput cartilage-on-a-chip system, the INTELLECTUALS-chip (IN-Chip).

The collaboration with CHILL enables us to combine knowledge, facilities, and talent development to further accelerate innovation in regenerative medicine and cartilage repair.

Op 17 juni is Hy2Care® aanwezig op de Innovatiemarkt tijdens de
Intelligent Community Forum (ICF) Top7 Conference in Limburg.

We zijn er trots op dat we als onderdeel van de Brightlands Chemelot Campus community onze Hy2Care® CartRevive® hydrogelimplantaat mogen presenteren aan een internationaal gezelschap van bezoekers en delegaties van over de hele wereld.

Het CartRevive® hydrogelimplantaat is ontwikkeld voor de behandeling van kraakbeenschade in een vroeg stadium van de knie. Het implantaat ondersteunt het natuurlijke herstelproces van het lichaam en stimuleert de vorming van nieuw kraakbeenweefsel. Daarmee willen we patiënten helpen hun gewrichten langer gezond te houden en de ontwikkeling van artrose zo lang mogelijk uit te stellen.

On 17 June, Hy2Care will be present at the Innovation Fair during the Intelligent Community Forum (ICF) Top7 Conference in Limburg.

We are proud to be one of the innovative companies from the Brightlands community showcasing our Hy2Care® CartRevive® hydrogel implant to an international audience of delegates from around the world.

The CartRevive hydrogel implant is developed for the treatment of early-stage cartilage damage in the knee. The implant supports the body’s natural healing process and helps stimulate the formation of new cartilage tissue. Ultimately, our ambition is to help patients maintain healthy joints for longer and delay the progression to osteoarthritis.
