Most people can point to the last time they took a long weekend.

Fewer can point to the last time they took a full week, with nowhere to be and nobody needing anything from them.

This is Anastasia, mid-way through one of our art masterclass sessions in April.

September 24th, we're opening another Ambassador week in Grebaštica, and we're looking for more Ambassadors to join us.

If that's you, send a DM with "September" and we'll take it from there.

People often ask what a week at Novavis actually looks like.

So here it is. Not the polished version. Just the real one.

Seven days.
A small group.
A place that slows you down before you even try.

Each activity is chosen because of what it does, not just how it looks. The mornings anchor you. The art makes you honest. The horses make you present. The walks give you space. The evenings give you something to look forward to.

By the end of the week, people leave with more than a feeling. They leave with clarity about what they want to do next.
That is what we built this for.

Two programs this autumn. September 24 and October 2, Croatia.

At some point during the week, people stop eating quickly.

It happens without anyone saying anything about it. The meals just start taking longer.
Not because the food is slow to arrive, but because nobody is in a rush to be anywhere else.

Fresh fish from the Adriatic, caught that morning. Local olive oil. Bread. Salad with things that were growing nearby recently.

Simple food that tastes like somewhere.

We did not design the meals to be a mindful eating experience. We just made sure the table was good, the food was real, and there was nowhere to be immediately afterwards.

Turns out that is enough.
There is something about eating well in a beautiful place with people you are starting to trust.

The conversation slows down too. Things get said that would not get said over a desk lunch or a dinner that has to end by nine.

Food is not the main thing at Novavis. But it is quietly one of the most important things.

Two programs remaining this year. September 24 and October 2, Grebaštica.

Some questions don't need an introduction.

There is a version of yoga that is about flexibility and strength.

And then there is the version we practised every morning in Grebaštica.

Which is less about what your body can do and more about what happens when you give it your full attention for forty-five minutes before the day begins.

The mornings were quiet. Not the kind of quiet that feels empty. The kind that gives your thoughts room to settle before you ask anything of them.

People told us afterwards that the morning practice was what they missed most. Not dramatically. Just the small daily anchor of it.

The signal to themselves that they existed before they became useful to anyone else.

That is what the right routine does.
It does not restrict you.
It holds you.

Yoga is part of the Novavis mornings in September and October.
If that is something you need right now, the mornings where you come first..find more information on our website or go to our bio.

Three minutes after arriving in Grebaštica, people start walking slower.

We do not think it is magic.
We think it is what happens when your nervous system finally gets the message that nobody needs anything from you right now.

No notifications that require action. No meeting starting in ten minutes.
No list waiting on the kitchen counter.

Just stone paths, salt air, the sound of water, and an afternoon that belongs entirely to you.

People sometimes ask us what makes Novavis different from just taking a holiday. It is a fair question.
The honest answer is structure. A holiday gives you time off.
Novavis gives you time in.

Time to actually sit with the things you have been moving past for months.
Time to notice what is there when the noise stops.

Grebaštica makes that easier. The place does a lot of the work before we even begin.

She had a full life going into this week.

Projects, grandchildren, responsibilities she loves and does not want to give up. But somewhere along the way, the feeling crept in that it was all just a little too much. That she needed to slow down, without knowing quite how.

So she signed up for Novavis.

What surprised her most was the painting. Sitting outside with a brush in hand, the Adriatic behind her, no agenda and nobody waiting for a result. She said it was the first time in a long while that she was doing something purely for herself. Not for her family, not for her work, just for her.

That is a small sentence. But it stayed with us.
Because underneath all the activities, that is really what this week is about. Enough space to hear yourself again.

The September program opens September 24. If something in you recognises this, the link is in our bio.
