🌱 COMPETITION THEMES
🔸 Ārogyabuddhi: Health as Civilisational Wisdom
🔸 Health Knowledge in Texts, Rituals, and Traditions
🔸 Ecology, Sacred Landscapes, and Planetary Health
🔸 Preventive Health: Diet, Lifestyle, and Seasonal Living
🔸 Healing Traditions, Herbal Wisdom, and Psycho-Spiritual Well-being
📌 IMPORTANT: The content of the posters must be strictly within the Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) domain and should demonstrate a clear connection to indigenous Indian knowledge traditions, classical texts, practices, or philosophical frameworks.
📋 COMPETITION RULES & GUIDELINES
1️⃣ Poster Format & Submission
✅ Landscape orientation (16:9 aspect ratio).
✅ Accepted formats: PDF, PNG, or JPEG.
✅ Maximum file size: 10 MB.
✅ Only ONE poster per participant.
✅ Submit through the designated online submission link.
✅ Ensure that the submitted file opens and displays correctly.
📅 Submission Deadline: 30 October 2026
The exact closing time and time zone will be communicated by the organisers.
2️⃣ Required Poster Content
Posters should include the following sections, wherever applicable:
🔹 Title
🔹 Author(s) and institutional affiliation
🔹 Introduction and research objectives
🔹 Methodology
🔹 Results, preliminary findings, or expected outcomes
🔹 Conclusion
🔹 References
📚 All sources, data, images, figures, and borrowed ideas must be appropriately acknowledged.
3️⃣ Poster Design & Readability
🎨 Use a clear, organised, and visually appealing layout.
🔹 Ensure readable fonts (recommended minimum 24 pt for body text, wherever feasible).
🔹 Maintain appropriate colour contrast.
🔹 Include relevant illustrations, charts, diagrams, and concise points.
🔹 Avoid excessive text and overcrowding.
🔹 Ensure that the poster is easily readable on a standard computer screen.
4️⃣ Originality & Academic Integrity
📖 Posters must represent original work.
❌ Plagiarism, fabricated or falsified data, and unauthorised use of copyrighted materials may lead to disqualification.
✅ Proper citations and references are mandatory.
✅ Any AI-assisted work must comply with the organisers' stated policy.
5️⃣ Evaluation Criteria
🏆 Posters will be evaluated based on:
✔️ Clarity and organisation of content
✔️ Quality, relevance, and accuracy of content
✔️ Originality and critical insight
✔️ Methodological soundness and supporting evidence, wherever applicable
✔️ Readability and visual presentation
✔️ Appropriate citations and references
The detailed judging rubric and marks allotted to each criterion will be communicated in advance.
6️⃣ Online Evaluation
💻 This is a POSTER-ONLY COMPETITION.
🔹 No live presentation is required.
🔹 No recorded presentation is required.
🔹 No question-and-answer session will be conducted.
🔹 Evaluation will be based entirely on the submitted poster.
Participants must ensure that their posters communicate the content clearly without requiring an oral explanation.
7️⃣ General Guidelines
📌 Late, incomplete, corrupted, or inaccessible submissions may be rejected.
📌 All participants must adhere to the competition guidelines.
📌 The judges' decisions will be final.
