The end of a very special chapter. â¤ď¸
Something you may not know about me is that, for the last couple of years, alongside running MiSkin, Iâve dedicated my weekends to caring for the wonderful residents at Miriam Corban Retirement Village.
Itâs been an absolute privilege and honour to care for people in my local community, building relationships, sharing stories, having plenty of laughs and, most importantly, making a difference in their lives through the care I provide.
Being able to give back to the community I call home has meant so much to me. Iâve met some truly wonderful people who have become much more than just clients, and Iâll always treasure the relationships weâve built.
With MiSkin continuing to grow in Newmarket and wanting to spend more time at home with Billy as we navigate his health, Iâve made the difficult decision to hang up my weekend uniform and say goodbye to this part of my working life.
But thankfully, itâs not goodbye to the people! Iâll still be popping in for social visits, a good catch-up and probably a cup of tea or two. â
To all the wonderful residents and team at Miriam Corban, thank you for welcoming me, trusting me with your care and making my weekends so special. Iâll miss our regular appointments, but Iâm so grateful for the time weâve shared.
A chapter Iâll always look back on with a smile. â¤ď¸
