Jas’s journey into orthodontics began while she was still at high school, when she took on a part-time role as a dental assistant. After finishing school, she moved into full-time dental assisting and has continued to develop her skills and passion for the profession ever since. Orthodontics has always held a special place for Jas, with her stepdad, a Clinical Dental Technician, inspiring her interest in the dental world from a young age.
We were incredibly fortunate to have Jas join our team of Pink Ladies at Donna Lim Orthodontics 18 months ago. A true multi-skilled team player, Jas is always happy to lend a hand wherever she’s needed and plays an important role across all areas of the practice. She’s never one to shy away from a challenge and takes great pride in completing her work to a consistently high standard.
Jas completed her NZDA Certificate in Dental Assisting in 2020 and is now working towards her Auxiliary Certificate. She hopes to sit her exam in 2027, which will see her become fully qualified with an expanded scope of practice — an exciting next step in her career.
With one brother and two stepbrothers, all around a similar age, Jas is certainly no stranger to a busy family dynamic! Her ability to juggle different personalities and keep things running smoothly serves her well in our busy clinical environment.
Outside of work, Jas loves to travel and has plenty more countries on her list to explore. She enjoys cooking and baking, getting creative with crafts, going for long walks, heading to the gym and Pilates. She’s also a big fan of TV shows, particularly anything true crime! Most of all, Jas loves spending time with her friends and family, while also appreciating some well-deserved downtime.
We feel incredibly lucky to have Jas as part of our team. Her willingness to help, positive attitude and commitment to doing her best make her such a valued member of our Donna Lim Orthodontics family.
