Creating with Abby Holistic Integrated Creative Arts Therapy (HICAT) is a multimodal approach to therapy.

Creating with Abby offers Holistic Integrated Creative Arts Therapy through a variety of workshops that utilize all forms of creativity and expression to develop self-empowerment and support healing. The healing modalities offered include meditation and creative visualization, embodiment, ecstatic dance, psychodrama, storytelling, journaling, sound healing, creative writing, poetry, painting, drawing, sand play, sculpture and any other activity that can engage your creativity and address you as a whole interconnected being that you are. The workshops offered provide a flexible, effective, evidence-based toolbox that you can use to change your life and are influenced by an open-minded, patient and loving kindness as well as a base in mindfulness and creativity. You will be provided with a safe space to explore a confident connection with yourself and others and you are not required to have any particular level of artistic ability to use or benefit from HICAT!

This Sunday I invite you to join me in circle for guided meditation, creative expression and tea 🙏

This will be my last offering for a while as I journey further into motherhood and welcome my son into the world.

We will gather to activate remembrance and to connect with one another on this cosy candle lit evening🕯

As the time for my son's arrival earthside draws nearer, I choose to honour myself and rest.

Meditative Art Making will be put on hold for now. Thank you to all of you who have shared with me your gratitude for the space these workshops have provided. I look forward to opening up these spaces again when the time is right.

I have one more offering I wish to share before we make our transition. This will be an in person meditation circle, created from the deep reverence I hold for every being wanting to journey inward and activate sacred remembrance.

I look forward to sharing more with you about this offering soon.

In my workshops I encourage intuitive art making. What comes with that is the challenge and gift of letting go.

Letting go of any pre-concieved ideas of what you want your creation to look and sound like, or allowing those ideas to change as you follow intuitive cues.

Letting go of judgement as you focus on the creative process itself, rather than the creation.

Letting go of identification with any form by becoming aware of the ego and releasing attachment to the standards it may try to set.

I encourage taking off the mask & showing up exactly as you are! This is when we see results. There is power in vulnerability.

Last week we gathered for the first session in our 4 week course for young people 🌼

Aly & Lily did an incredible job as they were lead through meditation for the first time and then guided through some intuitive art making.

In these sessions, I mostly hold space as our young people connect to their creativity and are encouraged to support themselves and eachother in the process.

Creativity takes courage and it is inspiring to see them express themselves.

Tomorrow, we continue on our journey!
