Some women's sexual function declines when the uterus is removed, leaving them unable to have uterine, cervical and full body or***ms. Some women lose the ability to or**sm.

Not all women are candidates for HRT. Hysterectomy raises risk for cardiovascular disease, dementia, osteoporosis, thyroid disease and other health issues.

Post hysterectomy women are higher risk for obesity and type 2 diabetes.

While some medical issues can occur directly after a hysterectomy, other health issues may not be seen until a year or more later.

Hysterectomy is completed by surgeons in New Zealand (topn3rd country) more than any other country in the world. Other countries understand the health benefits for women who do not have pathological reasons like cancer for removing uterus.

Our organs are more than just for babies.
Actually due to having to cut arteries to remove uterus having a hysterectomy raises the risk of surgical menopause and premature ovarian failure. It is more common to occur in perimenopausal women but can happen to younger women as well.

This should be mandatory in every gynaecology office in New Zealand.
Currently we have lapsed consultations, lapsed consent and the glossy RANZCOG brochure is just glossy.

New Zealand is the top 3rd country in the world for hysterectomies and they are not being monitored at all why they are being done, for as little as anemia..

Shame on the Medical Council of NZ Te Whatu Ora.

NZ top 3rd country in the world for rampant unnecessary hysterectomies. The top age bracket is 45-49yr (OIA).
A hysterectomy does not solve endometrisis, fibroids or other minor symptoms. There are better managements.
It should only be done for severe Adenomyosis and cancer should be the only cause to save a woman's life.

Hysterectomies are not reducing in NZ now they are selling the Hologics Novasure Endometrial Ablation as a godsend.
Shame they do not inform you they are doing 3rd degree burns to you womb and neighbouring organs 🔥 , as it remains unmonitored.
There is no accountability for wrongdoing. Also years spent in horrfic labour like pain while they pretend they didn't assult you with barbaric unmonitored torture.
Most end up with a hysterectomy within 5 years. Woman are not informed of this either. Teenagers at 15yrs old are having their wombs scarred with 3rd degree burns. We're they told all the risks?

Please research the HERS Foundation or join the Ablation groups for ethical information not some unethical quack speel a gynaecologist will tell you.

HDC also admitted the RANZCOG brochure was not worth the paper it was printed on.

How come not one NZ MP looks into horrific crimes against women in the Women's Health Department?

At least a couple of Australian Senators have answered our emails directly not sent us around in the same corrupt circle back to HDC for over 8yrs.

We are talking about thousands harmed by unmonitored barbaric procedures and devices and rampant unnecessary hysterectomies, birthing malpractice. FGM. Labias being removed. Horrific crimes against women.

No perpetrators are monitored either.
