5 hills I’ll die on as a physiotherapist running a hybrid reformer studio in Cambridge :
1. Safety before intensity. Harder isn’t always better. The right exercise, at the right time, is what moves you forward.
2. Function over choreography. Your training should translate into real life. Strength, balance, power and mobility all matter.
3. Movement is for everyone. Not just the fit, the flexible or the confident. Good programming meets you where you are and helps you progress.
4. “Shoulders back and down” is out. Your shoulders are designed to move. Let’s stop cueing one position as the right position for everyone.
5. Frailty is not your future. Ageing is inevitable, but losing strength, balance, power and independence isn’t something we should simply accept.
This is physiotherapy-informed movement with purpose - building capacity for the life you want to live, now and decades from now.
Follow for movement that future-proofs your body. Welcome to Āhua Studio
