💗 More than 36,000 people in New Zealand are living with or have survived breast cancer.
Behind every one of those numbers is a person with their own story. Their own challenges. And their own hopes for what comes next.
Because life after breast cancer isn't always as simple as finishing treatment and getting back to normal.
Life after treatment can bring challenges that others don't always see.
Living with fatigue, changes to your body, ongoing pain or discomfort, lymphoedema, the side effects of hormone therapy, or the fear of cancer returning can all become part of your new normal.
And while the appointments might become less frequent and everyone else assumes you're getting back to life as usual, you may still be working out and accepting what your new normal looks like.
But life goes on. And so do the dreams, adventures and experiences that make us who we are. 💗
At Altered Freedom, we understand that journey because we've lived it ourselves.
That's why we're passionate about helping women get back outdoors, rediscover their confidence and keep doing the things they love.
Whether it's a walk in nature, a day on the trails or a bigger adventure, we believe breast cancer shouldn't mean giving up on the things that bring you joy.
We're also proud to support Breast Cancer Foundation NZ, donating $5 from every backpack sold to help support their work.
Because surviving breast cancer is one thing. Having the confidence and freedom to live life on your terms is another.
💗 Life Changed. Live it Anyway.
