Think you’re not really a 'yoga person'? You're probably right.
Because - hear me out - maybe there 's no such thing?!
Despite what insta & fb would have us believe.
Maybe there's only people. And some of us do yoga, because we know what we get from it.
You don’t need to be flexible.
You don’t need to know what to do.
You don't need to get anything right - or even really think much.
You don’t need special clothes, or to look a certain way.
You don’t even need to own a yoga mat.
Just show up and I'll show you what I mean.
Yoga doesn't just happen in the room or in the weekly session. It gradually spreads through your life. It reduces cortisol and other stress chemicals in the body, so you can show up differently - at work, at play, parenting, in relationships - but most importantly...
With yourself.
It’s a simple practice that, over time, can create more space between you and the pressures of everyday life, giving you more space for what you want.
You don’t have to arrive already calm, flexible or experienced. You just have to step into the room. (I know that is the hardest part when you're new, so please know we all feel nervous at first)
Yoga for Beginners is a Journey run over 8 weeks (come to as many as you can) where we’ll take the time to learn the foundations, build confidence and experience what yoga can bring to your wellbeing.
