When you’re running on empty, even finding a way forward can feel exhausting.
And when you’ve been told there is little more that can be done, where do you find the energy to explore what else might help?
This is close to my heart, because I have been there.
For me, restoring energy comes first. When everything feels like an effort, we need something that helps us get a little strength back, as soon as possible. Enough to think more clearly, make a decision, and take that next step.
The last few years have certainly tested me. Unexpected events, an accident, repeated moves, stress, and a home with black mould. By the end of 2025, I felt depleted in just about every part of my being.
And yes, I work in the healing field. But I am human too :-)
We practitioners also get tired, overwhelmed and knocked sideways by life. Sometimes we need to step back and give ourselves the same care and understanding we offer everybody else.
That is what I needed: time to recharge, rejuvenate, revise and restart on a different footing.
Many years earlier, I had already reached a turning point with my health. After countless appointments, tests and hospital visits, I was told there was nothing more that could be done for me.
I found that very difficult to accept. I wanted to understand what else might be possible.
So I began exploring other approaches. In my own experience, within two weeks I started to feel a remarkable difference in my energy and wellbeing. After so long struggling, that gave me hope—and the strength to keep going.
Was the whole journey easy?
No. There was physical work, inner work, and plenty of my own “garbage” to work through! There were years of study, training, practising, volunteering and learning from people with different skills and perspectives.
Was it worth the time and money?
Absolutely.
Now, after around five decades of learning and working in this field, I still don’t profess to know it all. I learn every day. But I have gathered experience that can help others explore their options with more understanding and support.
I also have enormous respect for medicine. Medical care has helped save my life, and the lives of my children and animals, more than once.
For me, conventional care and complementary approaches can have a place alongside each other. I encourage informed decisions, and conversations with the appropriate health professionals.
More recently, PEMF came into my life.
It has become a much-valued part of my own routine for taking time out and recharging. Since introducing it, I have noticed improvements in how I feel, including my energy and sleep.
After everything that had happened, feeling more like myself again meant a great deal to me.
That is why I now offer PEMF wellness experiences alongside my Bowen practice. It gives people an opportunity to experience it for themselves, ask questions, and see how they feel. Everyone’s experience is different.
My aim has always been to help people—and animals—feel more comfortable, regain confidence in their bodies, and enjoy life again.
And I know from experience how much that begins with having some energy back.
The bigger plans can follow. First, let’s give ourselves some care and space to recharge.
If you’d like to explore Bowen or a PEMF wellness experience with me, send me a message. We can have a chat about where you are and what you’re looking for.
