One of the most fun parts of my job is working with my clients to create unique pieces they have been thinking about- whether it be for a long time or they have found out what they wanted while working with me on the design.

These things also include natural flow with placement, the final design and even line weight - as someone people want thicker lines vs some wanting thinner.

There is no wrong design (minus copying), and I’m always happy to offer my professional advice throughout the process ☺️

This was a beautiful piece I got to do for a lovely client of mine from Invercargill.

We were looking at taking the focus away from a scar in the area and instead create something eye catching a beautiful in an art nouveau/ neotrad style.

These sorts of tattoos have a very special place in my heart. I have had a lot of clients (and this includes myself) that have had scarring or different skin in areas and are wanting to transform the area into something they are proud of instead. Though scarring can make tattooing slightly more challenging it has always been worth it in my experience.

I was SO stoked I got to do this for one of my amazing clients down in Invercargill when I guest spotted in mid 2025. She snapped up one of my flash pieces that I had always wanted to do, and having just seen her again she tells me she still gets heaps of compliments on it!
