When I was training to become a breathwork facilitator, I learned the power of creating a space that was just for me, a corner where my practice, my healing, and my growth could unfold without rush or interruption.
And now… I finally have that space again after a year.
A place to meditate.
To journal.
To breathe deeply.
To drop into rest.
To sip cacao and soften into presence.
To remember who I am beneath the noise.
Here’s what I’ve learned:
You don’t need a physical space to honour yourself, your breath, your body, your intuition can meet you anywhere.
But when you do create a space intentionally… something shifts.
💫Your nervous system recognises it as safety.
💫Your rituals deepen because your body knows this is where you land.
💫Your growth feels supported, held, witnessed.
💫Your practice becomes easier to return to — because it has a home.
This little corner is my sanctuary.
My reset.
My reminder that tending to myself is not a luxury, it’s a devotion.
Here’s to making space for ourselves, in whatever way we can.
A cushion, a candle, a quiet moment… or an entire room.
It all counts.
It all matters.
And it all brings us home.
