Spring is here and it's time to get sowing! We had a great session on Wednesday learning about how to sow seeds correctly. Over the next few weeks, we will learn how to grow them successfully into strong and healthy seedlings. We made our own seed raising mix using compost, coconut coir and vermiculite and sowed a huge variety of seeds. Then we covered them with cardboard to keep them protected and put them in our warm tunnel house to germinate. And now we wait! Exciting times!

It was a fun and very interactive workshop with Anouk from Ecosolutions learning how to make lots of different chemical free products to use in our homes. From cleaning paste, lemon spray and dusting cloths to washing powder and liquid hand soap. We also shared many more recipes and felt good about avoiding harsh chemicals in our homes and lives.
