Equifest 2026, what an incredible weekend! 🐴❤️✨

WOW! Where do I even begin?!

What an absolutely amazing weekend we have had at Equifest 2026 in Hamilton! ❤️

Three days filled with wonderful people, beautiful horses, lots of laughter, fantastic conversations and so many exciting opportunities!

It was such a pleasure catching up with familiar faces, friends and clients while also meeting so many wonderful new people who share our passion for equine health, wellbeing and rehabilitation.

And of course, hopefully welcoming many of you into our growing Activomed NZ family! 🥰

The weather certainly put on a show for us too! Stunning sunshine on Saturday and Sunday and incredible atmosphere and so many fantastic exhibitors showcasing their products, knowledge and passion for the equestrian industry.

One of the biggest highlights for me was seeing how much excitement there was around our Activomed NZ concept! ❤️

We have been working incredibly hard behind the scenes to create something that goes beyond simply selling PEMF equipment.

With our brand new Activomed NZ Academy, we want to bring education, knowledge, ongoing support and a wonderful community together. A place where our owners can continue learning, ask questions, share experiences and feel confident using their Activomed systems.

Seeing how much you all loved this concept and hearing your wonderful feedback honestly meant the world to me! ❤️

And of course, our Simply the Best package was an absolute favourite throughout the weekend! 👏🐴

We are so incredibly excited about all the new Activomed systems heading to their new homes and cannot wait to personally deliver your orders, get everything set up and spend time with you learning about your new equipment!

It was also wonderful having Hannah Thickett our sponsored rider and Activomed NZ Partner there for you all to meet.

And a very special thank you goes to Josh! ❤️

I honestly could not have done this weekend without you. From the preparations and travelling to setting everything up, helping throughout the event and keeping everything running smoothly. You have been the most incredible support and I am so grateful!

To everyone who stopped by our stand, asked questions, shared their stories, supported our little business or simply came over for a chat, THANK YOU!

Your kindness, encouragement and excitement about what we are building here in New Zealand mean more than you know.

We are coming home with full hearts, tired feet, wonderful memories and so much excitement for what is ahead! 🥰

Equifest 2026, you have been absolutely amazing!

We cannot wait to see what the next year brings for Activomed NZ and our growing family.

We will most definitely be back in 2027! 🐴❤️

With lots of love and gratitude,

Nele ❤️

Recovery is not always about treating an injury. Sometimes it is about supporting the body before problems even begin.

Our horses work hard for us every day. Their muscles, joints and entire musculoskeletal system deserve just as much attention as their training and nutrition.

At Activomed NZ we believe in a proactive approach to equine wellbeing. Supporting relaxation, comfort and recovery is just as important as building strength and performance.

Because prevention, education and understanding your horse's body are all part of good horsemanship!

Over the past years I have seen firsthand how important education is when it comes to getting the most out of therapeutic equipment.

Owning an Activomed system is one thing. Understanding how to use it confidently and appropriately is where the real value begins.

I have always believed that selling a product should never be the end of the relationship with a customer. It should be the beginning.

And that is what makes Activomed NZ different.

We are not simply here to sell you a therapy system. We want to build long-term relationships, share our professional knowledge and support you throughout your journey.
With our dedicated Activomed NZ Partners, ongoing education and our direct connection to Activomed Germany, we are creating something truly special for our New Zealand community.

The Activomed NZ Academy is exclusively available to our Activomed NZ customers and is part of our commitment to providing exceptional ongoing support.

When you invest in an Activomed system through us, you are investing in so much more than equipment.

You are joining a professional network, an educational community and the Activomed NZ family.

And this is only the beginning!
We have so many exciting plans for the Academy and cannot wait to share everything we have been working on.

Activomed NZ Academy 👏

When we talk about high performance horses we often think about fitness, strength, training and results.

But one of the biggest parts of performance actually happens between the training sessions.
A horse can only perform as well as their body is able to recover.

Every training session creates stress within the body. Muscles work harder, joints and connective tissues are loaded, energy stores are used and the nervous system has to process everything we ask of our horses.

That isn’t necessarily a bad thing. This is actually how the body becomes stronger and fitter.
But the magic happens during recovery.

Recovery is when the body starts restoring energy, regulating the nervous system and repairing the tiny amounts of normal tissue stress created through exercise.

Regeneration takes this one step further. It is the ongoing process of rebuilding, adapting and preparing the body for the next workload.
And this is something I think we sometimes underestimate in horses.

More training doesn’t always equal more performance.

Sometimes the best thing we can give a performance horse is good quality movement, enough sleep and downtime, correct nutrition, hydration, appropriate bodywork and the opportunity for their body and nervous system to recover properly.

This is also where I love incorporating Activomed PEMF into my own horses’ routines and into the way I think about performance management.

For me it isn’t about replacing good horsemanship, veterinary care, correct training or nutrition. It is another tool we can use alongside those foundations to support relaxation, circulation and general wellbeing as part of a horse’s recovery routine.

Whether your horse is competing at a high level, travelling regularly, coming back into work or simply working towards becoming stronger and more balanced...

Performance is what we see.
Recovery is what allows it.
Regeneration is what helps us come back and do it all again. ❤️

Sometimes doing more isn’t the answer.

Sometimes giving the body the opportunity to recover is. 🐴

Performance • Recovery • Regeneration

When I look at where Activomed NZ is today I honestly have to pinch myself a little.

What started as an idea to run Activomed NZ alongside my Equine Therapy & Naturopathy business has grown into something much bigger than I ever imagined in our first year.

It really started as a passion project. I have believed in these systems for many years and simply wanted to bring that passion together with the work I already do every day.

Today we have 9 Activomed NZ Partners across our sales and customer service team and several more are currently in training. ❤️

We have worked incredibly hard behind the scenes this year. But none of this growth would have been possible without you.

Our clients. Our customers. Our friends. Our incredible equestrian community.

Many of you have watched me use Activomed for close to 9 years. You have seen me use the systems during treatments and with my own horses. For everyday wellbeing. For peak performance. For recovery and rehabilitation.

That trust has been built over many years and it means more to me than I can put into words.

Activomed is so much more than a product to me. It is a family.

It brings together like-minded people who share the same passion for their horses. People who simply want to do more for them and support their wellbeing in the best way they can.

And just like any family it takes a village.

I originally thought Activomed NZ would be something I could run alongside my existing business as a little passion project.

Now in our very first year I have a team of 10+ amazing people working alongside me.

That is pretty special.

So I simply want to say thank you.

Thank you for trusting me.

Thank you for trusting Activomed NZ.

Thank you for supporting us. For recommending us. For sharing your experiences and for helping us grow this incredible community.

I could never have imagined how successful Activomed NZ would already be at this point.

And somehow I feel like we are only just getting started. ❤️

October is going to be HUGE for Activomed NZ and our entire team.

Over the coming weeks we will start introducing our team members one by one. We cannot wait for you to get to know the wonderful people behind Activomed NZ.

And of course Equifest is just around the corner!

If you are coming please stop by our stand and say hi. Meet some of our team. Have a chat. See what we have been working on.

There is so much happening behind the scenes and so much more to come.

I am incredibly excited about where Activomed NZ is heading.

Most of all I am grateful to have all of you on this journey with us. ❤️

With gratitude

🐾 ACTIVOMED NZ CANINE BED | WELLNESS FROM PUPPYHOOD TO THE SENIOR YEARS 🐾

Did you know that Activomed isn’t just for horses? Our Activomed Canine Bed brings PEMF therapy into a comfortable space where your dog can simply lie down, relax and enjoy their session. 💙

I absolutely love this system because it can be incorporated so easily into everyday life. No holding equipment in place and no stressful treatment. Your dog simply settles onto the mat while the PEMF system does its work.

PEMF, or Pulsed Electromagnetic Field therapy, uses low-frequency electromagnetic pulses designed to interact with electrically active tissues within the body. It is commonly used as a supportive therapy to encourage circulation, relaxation, recovery and normal cellular processes.

🐶 And it isn’t only for older dogs!

One area I find particularly interesting is supporting puppies and young growing dogs.

Puppyhood places huge demands on the body. Bones are developing, muscles are getting stronger, joints are adapting, coordination is changing and the nervous system is constantly processing new information.

Then there is teething! 🦷

During teething, puppies can be unsettled, restless and uncomfortable while their adult teeth are coming through. PEMF isn’t going to stop teething or replace appropriate veterinary care, but a gentle session can be incorporated as part of a puppy’s overall wellbeing routine, particularly to encourage relaxation, rest and recovery during these busy developmental stages.

As they grow, the Canine Bed can continue to be used to support:

🐾 Relaxation and general wellbeing
🐾 Recovery after exercise and training
🐾 Muscular recovery
🐾 Circulation
🐾 Young, growing and active dogs
🐾 Sporting and working dogs
🐾 Dogs during rehabilitation alongside veterinary care
🐾 Older dogs needing a little extra support and comfort
🐾 Maintaining mobility and physical wellbeing throughout life

One of the things I love most about PEMF is that we don’t necessarily have to wait until something is “wrong” before supporting the body.

For me, wellbeing is about supporting the body through every stage of life, from those crazy puppy months right through to the slower senior years. 💙

Our Activomed NZ Canine Bed allows you to bring that supportive therapy into your own home and make it part of your dog’s normal routine.

🐾 We also have some exciting news for our canine community!

We now have a dedicated Canine Specialist joining the Activomed NZ team, with a professional background in veterinary nursing. Alongside myself, she will be available for more specialised consultations where additional therapeutic guidance may be helpful, including supporting dogs through rehabilitation, post-surgery recovery, illness, injury and other individual therapeutic needs, always working alongside your veterinarian where veterinary care is required.

Having someone on our team who understands the canine body, veterinary care and the different considerations around recovery means we can provide our canine clients with even more individualised support when incorporating Activomed into their dog’s wider care plan.

And we cannot wait for you to meet her! 💙🐶

We’ll be formally introducing our Activomed NZ Canine Partner very soon, so stay tuned. We’re incredibly excited to expand this side of Activomed NZ and bring more education, guidance and support to our canine community.

If you would like to learn more about the Canine Bed, how PEMF works or which programs may suit your dog, please get in touch with Activomed NZ. 🐶🇳🇿
