IT TAKES WHAT IT TAKES.

The discipline. The consistency. The hard days. The days you show up when motivation is nowhere to be found.

Building strength takes time. Building resilience takes effort.

There are no shortcuts to becoming the strongest version of yourself.

Keep showing up. Keep putting in the work.

EXERCISE SHOULDN'T FEEL LIKE PUNISHMENT.

Find something you love doing, and suddenly exercise becomes something you look forward to rather than something you feel you have to do.

For me, one of those things is boxing.

Whether I'm on the pads with someone or just bashing away on the bag, I absolutely love it.

It makes me feel strong, powerful and empowered. And no matter how hard the session is, I always seem to walk away smiling.

That's what exercise should feel like!

Find movement that makes you happy. Surround yourself with people who encourage you, support you and are working towards becoming healthier, stronger versions of themselves too.

Because when you actually enjoy what you're doing, staying consistent becomes a whole lot easier.

And remember, exercise isn't punishment for what you've eaten or how your body looks.

It's an investment in your health, your strength, your confidence and your future self.

Find your thing. Find your people. And have some bloody fun along the way!

POV: The strength is on the up. She's on her way.

There's something pretty bloody empowering about feeling your strength coming back.

It doesn't happen overnight. It takes consistency, discipline, patience and the drive to keep showing up, even when progress feels slow.

But every session, every rep, every little improvement adds up.

And it's not just about getting physically stronger. It's about feeling capable, confident and knowing what your body can achieve.

Strong feels good. And getting stronger feels even better.

Keep showing up for yourself. You're worth the effort.

YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE FIT TO WALK THROUGH MY DOORS.

I know that for some people, just the thought of walking into a gym can feel overwhelming.

Maybe you haven't exercised in years.
Maybe you've never stepped foot inside a gym.
Maybe you're worried everyone will be fitter, stronger or more confident than you.

Or maybe you've spent so long looking after everyone else that you've forgotten what it's like to do something just for yourself.

I want you to know something about my little space.

The Transformation Centre isn't your typical gym.

There are no big crowds, no intimidating gym environment, no pressure to look a certain way, and absolutely no judgement.

The people who walk through my doors are everyday people.

Mums, busy women, people starting again after years away from exercise, people rebuilding their confidence, and people who simply want to feel a little healthier, stronger and happier.

Different ages. Different abilities. Different stories.

And they're all welcome.

My job isn't just to teach you how to lift weights or get through a workout.

It's to help you feel comfortable in your own skin.

To teach you how to move your body with confidence.
To understand how to nourish and look after yourself.
To discover what your body is capable of.
And hopefully, to have a few laughs along the way.

Because exercise shouldn't feel like punishment. It should be something you do because your body deserves to be looked after.

You don't have to arrive confident.
You don't have to know what you're doing.
You don't have to be fit, strong or a certain size.

That's what I'm here to help you with.

And if all you can manage right now is coming in for a look around and a chat, that's absolutely fine too.

Sometimes the hardest part is simply walking through the door.

I'll make sure the rest doesn't feel quite so scary.

FAT LOSS ISN’T A GUESSING GAME.

“I think I eat pretty well.”

“I don't eat that much.”

“I’m probably eating around 1,500 calories.”

Sound familiar?

Here's the thing. If your goal is to lose body fat, guessing your way through your nutrition probably isn't going to get you the results you're looking for.

Fat loss requires a calorie deficit. That means consistently consuming less energy than your body uses.

And while that sounds simple, there are a few things that can make a BIG difference.

1. KNOW WHAT YOU'RE EATING.
If you're not seeing results, spend some time accurately tracking your food. Those little extras, cooking oils, snacks, sauces and drinks all count. You might be surprised at how quickly things add up.

2. PRIORITISE PROTEIN.
Protein helps preserve muscle while you're losing body fat, supports recovery and keeps you feeling fuller for longer. Don't just focus on eating less. Focus on eating enough of the right things.

3. DRINK YOUR WATER.
Hydration matters! It supports digestion, performance and how well your body functions. And sometimes we simply aren't drinking enough.

4. GET YOUR SLEEP.
Poor sleep can affect hunger, cravings, recovery and energy levels. You can have the best nutrition plan in the world, but consistently poor sleep isn't going to help.

5. DON'T KEEP CHANGING THE PLAN.
Give your body time. Be consistent, monitor your progress and make adjustments based on what's actually happening, not what you think might be happening.

And one more thing...

The goal should be to lose body fat while maintaining as much muscle, strength and energy as possible.

You don't need to starve yourself.
You don't need to cut out entire food groups.
And you definitely don't need to survive on salads.

You need a plan that works for your body, your lifestyle and your goals.

Stop guessing. Start understanding.

If you're struggling with your nutrition or not getting the results you're working hard for, I can help you understand what your body actually needs.

Things you can thank the gym for:
The mental break.
The stress relief.
The stronger body.
The clearer mind.
The space to work through things.

Things you should thank yourself for:
Showing up without seeing results.
Pushing through when it was hard.
Starting again when you fell off track.
Choosing hard over easy.
Not giving up on yourself.
The gym changes your life.

But so do you.

Your birthday might say one thing… but what does your fitness age say?

WANT TO FIND OUT?

Head over to my STRONG by Coach P app and complete a quick questionnaire to get an estimate of your current fitness age.

It's a fun little way to check in with yourself and maybe even give you some motivation to start making a few changes.

And while you're there, have a look around.

I also have a FREE at-home workout available, so you can get moving without needing a gym or fancy equipment.

Because getting older is inevitable. But how we look after ourselves as we age? That's something we can work on.

REBUILDING THE STRONG COACH P 💪

Right now, I'm working hard on rebuilding my muscle, regaining my strength and getting back to the strong Coach P I know.

And a big part of that starts with nutrition.

This morning's breakfast? A double-scoop protein shake alongside my banana cake protein bowl.

I'm making a conscious effort to hit my daily protein targets, fuel my body properly and give my muscles what they need to rebuild and recover.

Because building strength isn't just about what you do in the gym. It's also about how you fuel your body outside of it.

It's a work in progress, but I'm getting stronger every day.

Change the plan, never the goal.

YOUR MUSCLES ARE TALKING TO THE REST OF YOUR BODY.

And no, I'm not talking about them screaming at you after leg day!

Here's something you might not know.

Your muscles do a whole lot more than help you lift weights, walk up stairs or look good in a pair of shorts.

They're actually communication centres.

When your muscles contract during exercise, they release chemical messengers called myokines.

These little messengers can communicate with other tissues and organs throughout your body, including your brain, bones and fat tissue.

Pretty cool aye?

And here's why I find this so interesting.

Research suggests these muscle-derived signals play a role in things like:

- Regulating metabolism
- Supporting bone health
- Influencing inflammation
- Supporting brain health

So when we talk about the importance of maintaining muscle, especially as we get older, it's about SO much more than looking strong.

Your muscles aren't just there to move your body. They're helping regulate how your body functions.

Interesting hey!
