We are incredibly proud of the journey and growth of Pacific Health Service Hutt Valley. A vision that started as an idea is becoming reality.

On 2 November, Epuni Medical Centre will open its doors to the Hutt Valley community. This achievement represents years of commitment, partnership, and belief in a healthcare system that is accessible, equitable, and community-focused.

We are proud to be launching a General Practice led by experienced GPs alongside what we believe is NZ's first Pacific Nurse Practitioner-led service, with two Pacific Nurse Practitioners helping lead the delivery of care. Our goal is simple: to be an additional service that strengthens access to primary healthcare for everyone in our community.

Our sincere thanks to our funders, partners, workforce, and communities who have walked this journey with us. Your support has helped turn aspiration into action.

A special acknowledgement to Tu Ora Compass Health for standing alongside us as we work together to improve health outcomes across the Hutt Valley.

Home at last - what a trip!! Finished off with two musicals in one day in Melbourne - Neil Diamond matinee (so good 😉) then Spamalot (hilarious!!). Next day we were off to Sydney. The weather was amazing - 29 degrees and sunny 🌞. First up My Fair Lady at the Opera House - just delightful and such a treat to see original costumes from 1958. Next day we enjoyed to waterfront and I found a handbag cocktail which I just had to havel!!! ❤️ 😍 Fiddler on the Roof that night - possibly my favourite of the trip which I wouldn't have predicted. So moving. Next day was Lion King matinee - wonderful to see all the kids so entranced! Then last day saw us visit the Sydney Gift Fair - found some cool new things to stock then off to a Harry Potter Exhibition as it was right next door! Walked in the door last night at 2:30am and just about to head off to work - hope you enjoyed seeing me accompany my shoes and handbags on their travels - until next time!! ❤️ 😍

Having a WONDERFUL time!! Huge thanks to my AMAZING ladies holding down the fort while I'm galavanting around!! ❤️ 😍 Had a FABULOUS day flitting around Sovereign Hill on Friday. Went underground into a gold mine, had a BEAUTIFUL long lunch and saw Australia's only gold pour. Sunday saw a few of us being very spoilt at another long lunch, this time at Brae (regarded as one of the finest restaurants in Australia!). After a tour of the restaurant gardens by the head gardener we headed into lunch. The salad had 75 ingredients between the food and sauces and was phenomenal!! Conference is now done so we're in relax mode - already visited two day-spa bathhouses and maybe one more to go 😉 Chilling in Melbourne and enjoying their teahouses. Must fly - off to TWO musicals today - such fun!! 🎶 🎵

What a day!! Wednesday began with a sunrise balloon ride, then a 5-course lunch on the Bellarine Q-Train before finishing off with an 80's Gala Event!!! My shoes, handbags and I had such fun!! ❤️ 😍
