Dark Chocolate 🍫

It's the star ingredient in 's latest recipe, Coconut Ice Cream with Dark Chocolate Crunch. 🤤

Not only is dark chocolate delicious, but it's also packed with antioxidants called flavonoids, which help support heart health and combat oxidative stress. Plus, it contains essential minerals like magnesium and iron to support energy production and overall wellbeing. ❤️

It's one of those rare ingredients that's as good for the soul as it is for the body.

Today is World Sepsis Day 🦠

Sepsis is a life-threatening medical emergency that occurs when the body's response to an infection begins to damage its own tissues and organs.

Recognising the signs early can save lives. That's why it's so important to ask: Could this be Sepsis?

Know the signs. Remember SEPSIS:

🔹 S – Slurred speech or confusion
🔹 E – Extreme shivering or muscle pain
🔹 P – Passing no urine (all day)
🔹 I – “I feel like I’m going to die”
🔹 S – Skin that is mottled, pale or discoloured

What can cause Sepsis?

Pneumonia is the leading cause of sepsis, but it can also develop from infections affecting the lungs, urinary tract, abdomen, joints, skin, bones, blood or heart.

Early recognition and urgent treatment are critical. If you or someone you know is experiencing these symptoms, seek medical attention immediately.

September is Gynaecological Cancer Awareness Month 💜

This month is dedicated to raising awareness of the signs and symptoms of gynaecological cancers and highlighting the importance of early detection.

By increasing awareness and encouraging open conversations, we can help normalise discussions around gynaecological cancers, improve understanding, and advocate for greater investment in research, clinical trials, treatments, medications, and diagnostic pathways. Together, these efforts can help improve outcomes and reduce the number of people diagnosed at a late stage.

Want to learn more? Visit our blog to explore the five main gynaecological cancers, their symptoms, risk factors and treatment options.

Remember, recognising symptoms early can lead to earlier diagnosis, more treatment options and better survival outcomes.
