Daffodil Day 💛
To everyone navigating cancer —
whether you’re going through it now, supporting someone you love, or have walked your own cancer journey…
I see you. 💛
And to those living with chronic illness and autoimmune conditions — navigating the symptoms, the pain, the fatigue, the good days, the bad days and the crashes…
I see you too.
Because sometimes you can look perfectly well on the outside, while your body is working incredibly hard underneath.
I understand that some days are harder than others.
I understand that every journey is different.
And I know that your experience is uniquely yours.
For me, this is personal too.
I have experienced my own health challenges and my own cancer journey.
That’s one of the reasons I’m passionate about creating a space where you can simply pause.
When your body has been under stress for a long time, the nervous system can become more sensitive. Creating moments of calm, safety and deep relaxation can be so important.
Reflexology offers a gentle opportunity to slow down, settle the nervous system and reconnect with your body.
A chance to breathe a little deeper.
To release some of the physical tension you’ve been carrying.
To feel more grounded, relaxed and at ease.
Perhaps leave feeling a little lighter, calmer and more able to meet whatever comes next.
And perhaps, for a little while, you don’t have to carry it all. 💛
💛 Thinking of everyone touched by cancer and chronic illness this Daffodil Day. Alex x
