Spring doesn’t have to mean changing everything.

In health coaching, some of the most meaningful changes start small.

A little more movement.
A little more rest.
A little more nourishing food.
A little more time outside.
A little more space to notice what your body and mind actually need.

You don’t need a perfect plan or a huge burst of motivation.

Start with one small action that feels realistic, meaningful and repeatable.

That’s how sustainable change is built — not all at once, but through the choices we keep returning to.

One step. One choice. One day at a time.

Thank you for your overwhelming response, the spaces have now been filled 🙏💛

Hi beautiful community

I’m looking for 4 people who are ready to make meaningful, sustainable changes to their health and wellbeing.

As I complete the final requirements of my PreKure Master Health Coach qualification, I’m looking for a small number of people who would like some support creating meaningful change in their health and lifestyle.

You might be wanting to:

• improve your health or lose weight in a realistic, sustainable way
• manage stress, overwhelm or burnout differently
• build healthier habits and routines
• change an unhelpful behaviour or pattern that you’ve been struggling to shift
• improve your metabolic health, nutrition, sleep or movement
• make changes to better support yourself while living with a chronic health condition
• reconnect with what matters to you and create a healthier lifestyle that fits your life

Health coaching is not a one-size-fits-all approach, and it is not about being told what you should be doing. It is a collaborative process that meets you where you are and looks at you as a whole person — your health, lifestyle, circumstances, values, challenges and what matters most to you.

The coaching process is supported by science backed evidence-informed health education and lifestyle medicine principles, while still recognising that every person is different. Together, we explore what may be getting in the way and develop realistic, practical strategies for behaviour change that fit your life and feel achievable for you.

Some of you may know me through Sonic Sundays and my sound work, through my years of working in natural health, and some may even remember me from my many years of jumping out of airplanes. These days, I’m much more focused on nervous system regulation, whole-person health and the art of slowing down.

I’m a PreKure Certified Health Coach, have also completed my Advanced Health Coach training, and am currently completing my Master Health Coach qualification, with particular interests in metabolic nutrition, mental health, chronic illness and sustainable behaviour change.

Sessions will begin in early October, and I’m looking for people who can commit to one session a week for six weeks, with the option to continue beyond that if you feel you would like to.

Sessions can be in person in Queenstown or online, depending on what suits you, and are offered on a donation/koha basis while I complete the final case-study requirements for my Master Health Coach qualification.

If this sounds like something you may be interested in, please send me a private message and we can have a chat to see whether health coaching would be a good fit.

September is Chronic Pain Awareness Month, and 10 September is World Su***de Prevention Day.

Two conversations that are more closely connected than many people realise.

Chronic pain can affect far more than the body. It can impact sleep, work, relationships, independence, identity and hope.

And just like emotional distress, it isn’t always visible.

So this month, let’s shine a little more light on what we don’t always see.

Check in with your people.
Ask the question.
Listen to the answer.
And sometimes, ask twice.

Sometimes we become so focused on the mountain ahead that we forget to notice how far we’ve already come.

The things that once felt impossible may now simply be part of your story. Not because they were easy, but because you kept moving through them, learning, adapting and finding your way.

Take a moment to notice what you’ve already moved through.
What you’ve learned.
What you’ve overcome.
And what still matters enough to keep moving towards.

The next mountain may still feel daunting, but you don’t have to climb it all at once.

One step at a time.

Don’t rush this chapter.

Sometimes growth looks like big changes, and sometimes it simply looks like showing up.

Showing up for your breath.
Showing up for moments of stillness.
Showing up for the small choices that support you.
Showing up for yourself, exactly as you are.

Meaningful change rarely happens all at once. It unfolds when we slow down enough to be present with our lives — one breath, one choice, one day at a time.

Rest is not falling behind.
Pausing is not failing.
Slowing down is often where we begin to hear what we truly need.

You don’t need to have it all figured out. You just need to keep gently showing up.

Change is rarely a straight line.

Some days feel easier than others. There are good days, hard days, old habits that creep back in, moments where we feel like we’re getting somewhere — and moments where it feels like we’ve gone backwards.

That doesn’t mean change isn’t happening.

Real behaviour change is built through small choices, repeated over time. It’s practising something again and again — not doing it once and expecting ourselves to have mastered it.

Sometimes progress is simply noticing sooner.
Choosing differently once.
Starting again after a difficult day.
Taking one small step when the bigger one feels impossible.

Change can be hard. Staying where we are can be hard too. We don’t always get to choose what’s difficult — but we can choose which direction we keep moving in.

You don’t have to get it right every time. You just have to keep returning to the direction you want to go.

“Progress isn’t the absence of setbacks. It’s the willingness to begin again.”
