The blade was never just designed with the young, high performance athlete in mind. It was designed to support anyone and everyone who wants to get out and enjoy the world around them.

Whether that’s climbing a difficult multi pitch in your 60s, or simply making it through your afternoon meetings feeling sharp, the blade is your solution to daily nutrition.

We’re thrilled to announce that Leaft Blade has been named among TIME’s Best Inventions of 2026. Not bad for a protein that starts life in a paddock in Canterbury.

Leaft Blade is the first consumer product built on something researchers chased for more than a century: a way to extract Rubisco protein from green leaves without destroying the properties that make it valuable.

Our team developed a process that keeps those properties intact and the result is Leaf Rubisco Protein, a complete, rapidly digested protein that is allergen friendly, with a complete amino acid profile.

A lot of responsibility comes with being the first company to create a commercially available rubisco protein product.

So that means our secrets of how we extract rubisco are pretty important!

50,000 is a big number.

Especially when it’s referring to the amount of leaves worth of nutrition put into each Leaft Blade. That’s a lot of green goodness. Protein, iron, vitamins, you name it.
