💚🌈🩷 October is a month of awareness, understanding and support 🩷🌈💚

This October, Ocean Breeze Health is recognising:

🌈 ADHD Awareness Month
💚 Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month
🩷 Breast Cancer Awareness Month

While each is very different, awareness matters.

It gives us an opportunity to learn, listen to lived experiences, challenge misconceptions, encourage early detection and create a community where people feel understood and supported.

Throughout October, we’ll be sharing information and raising awareness about ADHD, cerebral palsy and breast cancer.

Because good healthcare isn't just about treating illness — it's also about understanding people, removing barriers and supporting our community. 💙

Kia ora e te whānau 🌿

This week we’re celebrating Te Wiki o te Reo Māori 2026 – Māori Language Week.

Te reo Māori is more than words. It is about whakapapa, identity, connection and belonging. Whether you’re fluent, just beginning, or somewhere in between, every kupu spoken helps keep te reo Māori strong and thriving.

At Ocean Breeze, we encourage everyone to give te reo a go this week — kōrero (speak), whakarongo (listen), ako (learn), and share what you know with others. Even learning and using one new kupu or phrase each day is a great place to start.

This month, Ocean Breeze Health celebrates our first birthday! 🥳

We want to say a heartfelt thank you to all of our patients and our wonderful community for your support over the past year. It has been an incredible journey, and we are so grateful to be part of such a caring and supportive community.

We're also incredibly fortunate to have amazing local businesses supporting both our clinic and our community.

💙 A huge thank you to Studio Pilates - Silverdale, who have generously donated THREE passes for 3 FREE Reformer Pilates classes for three lucky registered Ocean Breeze Health patients!
