This is the part of fundraising I absolutely love — finding out where your kindness has landed 🥹🤍
Last week we rolled out our yoga mats together for something bigger than yoga — raising money for the people of Nepal following the devastating floods.
And today, I received this message from the people we donated directly to…
Our $350 has helped provide essential supplies to 100 families in Majhgaun, Uttargaya Rural Municipality-5 🇳🇵
Together, they were able to distribute:
🤍 Large tents
🤍 Clothing
🤍 Kitchenware
🤍 Sanitary pads & diapers
🤍 Food including satu, salt & lentils
🤍 Stationery & toys for the children
They also sent their heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed through our yoga class.
And honestly… I’m overwhelmed.
What started as one evening of yoga, community, sunset and a desire to help has travelled all the way from our little corner of Aotearoa to 100 families in Nepal.
To everyone who came, donated, shared, encouraged, or simply helped spread the word — thank you 🫶
This is what community can do.
We rolled out our mats. You opened your hearts. And together, we made a difference 🤍🇳🇿🇳🇵
So incredibly grateful, Namaste 🙏
