Join us for a vegan picnic on Christmas day at Wenderholm Regional Park. A lovely place to relax, swim, walk, w**e and eat. Be prepared to come for the whole day. Bring a mat, favourite fizz, chairs, games, lots of food to share. You are welcome to bring friends and family (they don't need to be vegan), please make sure all food brought is vegan. If you need a lift, post your details in the comments.
Arrive at midday and stay as long as you want.
No limits on numbers, we have a back up venue in case it rains that day. See our meetup Checkout this Meetup with Vegan Hub & Foodies:

Some pics from Earthday hangi which was really an Umu (Island style hangi). The food was delish, filled with smokey flavours and packed with B12 (some soil made it into the food :-). Awesome company & relaxed evening.

# # Animals Need Your Help

Have you ever seen animals on a slaughter truck? You can look away or you can come close and try to help.
Bearing witness is being present in the face of injustice and intervening.

The Animal Save Movement bears witness to animals on their way to the slaughterhouse.

Animal vigils bring you face to face with the animals and makes you see them for the individuals they are. The animal exploitation industry sees animals as commodities; by bearing witness and looking an animal in the eyes you can see their unique soul.

We use a non-violent, love-based approach to community organizing as a means of being the change we want to see in the world. The approach is inclusive and welcoming to all.

Come for as long as you like and be involved as you feel comfortable.
