đ GANDALF IS BACK IN COURT â LETâS FILL THAT STREET AGAIN! đ
Paul âGandalfâ Smith is back at the WhangÄrei District Courthouse, Thursday 22 October at 2:15pm, and we need to show him and his family that theyâre not standing alone.
Itâs been more than 18 months since police raided Gandalfâs Northland property, destroyed his greenhouses, and charged him with six offences relating to growing and supplying cannabis and cannabis oil. The most serious charges carry up to 14 years in prison.
A trial date is finally expected to be set. And according to the Crownâs own timeline, that trial may not be heard until 2028.
Thatâs potentially three years from raid to trial, for a man who has spent years providing cannabis to hundreds, and according to supporters, potentially thousands, of Kiwis living with cancer, chronic pain, PTSD and other conditions.
