Not all dermal filler is about creating volume.

Sometimes, it’s about restoring smoothness to an area where fine lines have started to settle into the skin.

As we age, our skin gradually loses collagen, elasticity and some of its natural support. Combined with years of everyday facial movements, this can cause lines to remain visible even when our face is completely relaxed.

This is where carefully placed dermal filler can make a difference.

For this client, I used small amounts of dermal filler directly within the lines around her mouth, with the aim of softening their appearance rather than changing the shape or fullness of the area.

The skin around the mouth is constantly moving, so my approach is to use small amounts of filler to gently soften these lines while keeping the area looking and feeling natural.

We’re not trying to erase every line or create perfectly smooth skin. Just a subtle improvement that still looks like you. 🤍

If you have fine lines that are becoming more noticeable at rest, we can discuss whether dermal filler may be an appropriate option for you during a consultation.

Club Alta is officially here 🤍

This idea came from you! After many conversations with clients who wanted an easier way to plan for their treatments, Club Alta was born. Instead of paying the full amount on appointment day, you can contribute a little each week and build credit on your Alta Aesthetics account.

You choose your weekly amount, starting from $15, and use your credit towards future treatments that are right for you. It isn’t tied to one treatment or a fixed schedule.

Members also get priority access to bookings and cancellations, early access to new treatments and events, and occasional Club Alta benefits.

I’m so excited to finally share this with you. You can read all the details and join through the Club Alta page linked in my bio 🤍

Wedding season is nearly here đź’Ť

If you’re thinking about getting injectables before your big day, start earlier than you think.

Most brides trial their hair and makeup — injectables should be no different. Your first treatment is where we learn how you respond, what dose works for you, how long your results last and what you actually like. Then we refine it.

Every year, I turn away brides wanting injectables for the very first time just weeks out from their wedding — don’t let that be you!

Starting early gives us time to review your results, fine-tune your treatment plan and make sure everything is beautifully settled well before the day.

The final weeks before your wedding are for maintenance, not experimentation.

If you’re not sure where to start, book a complimentary consultation and we can map out a treatment timeline that’s right for you - with absolutely no obligation to proceed with treatment.

Before. During. Immediately after đź’‰

Thought this was a cool wee look at the process.

Whilst you’ll see an immediate change with dermal filler, some swelling and usually a little bruising is always to be expected!

The final result will continue to soften and settle over the following weeks.
