Confidence grows when young people feel supported. 💙
Recently, Skylight was proud to support Jake in representing New Zealand at the ISA U13 Softball Championships in Sydney. Returning home, Jake's whānau say his confidence has skyrocketed, he's sharing new skills with teammates, and he's more motivated than ever to pursue his goals.

At Skylight, we see every day how opportunities, connection, encouragement, and a sense of belonging can strengthen wellbeing and help young people thrive. Whether through counselling, grief support, programmes, or resources, our work is focused on helping tamariki and rangatahi build resilience, confidence, and hope for the future.

We're honoured to have played a small part in Jake's journey and are delighted to see him flourishing both on and off the field.

Ngā mihi, Jake. We can't wait to see what you achieve next.

Something has happened - This book helps young children who are facing tough times.

It is a popular activity book for young children, 3 - 6 years and helps them find words and ways to express and begin to process what it is that's happened to them or to someone they care about.

It has been designed to be personalised by each child, so it fits any difficult situation. There are guidelines on every page for a parent or carer as they help a child with the book.
