||𝐁𝐏𝐒𝐔 𝐀𝐃𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐎𝐑𝐘||

In accordance with University Memorandum No. PRES.MEM.2026.2045, and amid the increasing number of flu-like cases within the University community, all employees and students are required to wear face masks at all times while inside University premises. This measure aims to protect the health of the BPSU community and prevent the further spread of infection.

Students with flu-like symptoms, cough, or colds may be excused from their classes and shall be fetched by their parents or guardians to ensure their safe return home.

The Student Affairs and Services Office (SASO) and the Health Services Unit (HSU) are directed to consolidate and submit campus-level reports on employees and students with flu-like symptoms for proper monitoring and appropriate action.

All members of the BPSU community are enjoined to strictly observe these preventive measures and cooperate in maintaining a safe and healthy campus environment.

Today, Bataan Peninsula State University -Abucay Campus is conducting a Mental Health Awareness Seminar entitled “Empowering Student Leaders as Mental Health Advocates” in celebration of Mental Health Awareness Month with the invited resource speaker Mr. Jayvie Villazor, RPsy, RPm, FT. and all student student leaders, student organizations president, and class mayors being the participants.

❤️ HIV-AIDS AWARENESS PROGRAM | SEPTEMBER 26, 2026 ❤️

Knowledge is protection. Awareness is empowerment. 🫶

The BPSU Health Services Unit – Abucay Campus successfully conducted its HIV-AIDS Awareness Program on September 26, 2026, in collaboration with the Population Commission of Abucay through Ms. Janelle Tranate.

🎤 Our sincere appreciation to our resource speaker, Mr. Janno G. Tinao, Adviser of the Youth Health Ambassadors of Abucay, for sharing valuable knowledge and promoting awareness, prevention, and responsible health choices among our NSTP trainees.

🩺 HIV Testing was also made available through the sponsorship of the Family Planning Organization of the Philippines, giving participants an opportunity to take a proactive step toward knowing and protecting their health.

💚 Special thanks as well to the 4-H Club – BPSU Abucay Campus Chapter for their valuable support and active participation in this meaningful initiative.

Together, let’s break the stigma, spread accurate information, promote testing, and build a healthier and more informed community.

✅ Keep surroundings clean and free from rats
✅ Wash thoroughly after possible exposure

DOH: HUWAG IPAGWALANG-BAHALA ANG SEVERE DENGUE SYMPTOMS

Ang dengue ay maaaring lumala at mauwi sa malubhang kondisyon. Kung nakakaranas ng matinding pananakit ng tiyan, paulit-ulit na pagsusuka, pagdurugo, pagsusuka o pagdumi na may dugo, matinding panghihina, o pagiging balisa, huwag nang maghintay.

Kapag may sintomas, magpatingin agad sa pinakamalapit na health facility. Maagang pagpapatingin at agarang pagkilos ay mahalaga upang maiwasan ang malubhang komplikasyon ng dengue.

Samantala, makiisa sa 4Ts—Taob, Taktak, Tuyo, Takip—upang maiwasan ang pagdami ng lamok na maaaring magdala ng dengue.
