Today, CoreHealth Medical Clinic would like to recognize someone whose story truly touched our hearts.
Meet Ms. Rowena Matining of Brgy. Pili, Boac, Marinduque, a dedicated Barangay Health Worker who has spent 26 years caring for her community.
We met Ms. Rowena when she accompanied a patient to our clinic. During our conversation, she shared that she has been looking after her neighbors for more than two decades—not only caring for them but also personally accompanying patients to hospitals whenever they need medical attention.
What started as an ordinary consultation became a beautiful reminder of the extraordinary people working quietly behind the scenes of healthcare.
As healthcare professionals, we often meet patients when they arrive at our clinics and hospitals. But behind many of these visits are people like Ms. Rowena, who help ensure that patients receive the care they need.
