It is both!

Anti-rabies prevention includes pre-exposure and post-exposure most especially if you’re at risk for rabies exposure. It is best to get vaccinated at both times for better protection.

In case you don’t know, any liquid produced by a rabid animal (including rabid human) may transmit the rabies, even through their tears (though it’s a rare case). As such, keeping your pets rabies-free should be a priority if you love cuddling them. Nonetheless, if you encounter a rabid animal/human, it is better to look out for the things listed below to avoid being a rabid animal yourself😉
