Your immune system has defenses, but what happens when cancer finds a way to press the brakes?

This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, let’s talk about 𝗶𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗽𝘆, a treatment that helps the immune system recognize and fight cancer cells. From checkpoint inhibitors to ongoing research on cancer vaccines, scientists are finding new ways to give our body’s defenses a fighting chance, especially against certain types of breast cancer, such as triple-negative breast cancer.

But remember, immunotherapy isn’t for everyone, and research on breast cancer vaccines is still ongoing. Science is advancing, but early detection remains essential!

Know your body. Get screened. Talk to your doctor. Because understanding your options is one step toward taking charge of your health.💖

Misinformation about breast cancer can lead to misconceptions about who can develop it, what causes it, and how it can be detected. From the belief that breast cancer primarily affects older women to the misconception that men cannot develop it, these myths can hinder awareness and early detection.

Through this guide, we aim to debunk common myths, share accurate information, and empower everyone to take proactive steps toward better breast health.
