To help ensure a smooth and efficient examination process, please review the attached guide containing the required documents, laboratory tests, and important reminders.

In response to the recent earthquake, MSU GSC Medical Services Department remained on active duty by establishing a medical station and deploying standby medical responders to support the safety and welfare of the university community during post-earthquake response operations.

Medical teams were strategically positioned to provide immediate assessment, first aid, emergency response, and medical standby coverage during clearing, retrieval, and coordinated response activities. Through close coordination with the University Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office and other offices, timely medical assistance and continuous monitoring were ensured throughout the operations.

We extend our sincere appreciation to all our health personnel and partner offices for their dedication, teamwork, and unwavering commitment to safeguarding lives and promoting safety.

Attended by MSD Nursing Services and selected 4th-Year College of Medicine Medical Clerks, the session provided participants with essential knowledge and practical guidance on using mental health screening tools to identify and assess mental health concerns early. The discussion also highlighted the importance of timely recognition, appropriate referral pathways, and other initiatives to ensure students receive prompt assessment and support when needed.

Through initiatives such as this, the department continues to strengthen its commitment to holistic healthcare and to promoting mental wellness within the university community.

Following today's earthquake, the MSU GSC Medical Services Department immediately activated its emergency response protocols to ensure prompt medical assistance and continuity of healthcare services. A triaging area was established in front of the UDRMMO Building to facilitate rapid assessment, prioritization, and management of affected individuals requiring medical attention. A total of 16 injured patients were assessed and managed by the medical team. Most of the patients were from RHU Fatima and were subsequently transferred to the Medical Services Department for further assessment and management. The department remains on standby and continues to coordinate closely with emergency response units and concerned offices to ensure timely and appropriate healthcare services during ongoing response operations. We encourage everyone to remain calm, stay informed through official advisories, and seek medical assistance through designated response areas when necessary.
