Empowering Pharmacists for Healthier Futures!

Yesterday, we celebrated World Pharmacists Day in the most meaningful and fun way possible by launching our “Brown Bag” event!
Aligned with this year’s global theme—“Empowering pharmacists for healthier futures”—our team rolled up our sleeves to strengthen patient education and drive optimal health outcomes. As part of the program, we carefully assessed patient prescriptions for:
✅ Medication adherence & compliance
✅ Potential drug interactions
✅ Duplication of therapy
✅ Other vital medication-related issues
Because true empowerment means ensuring safe, effective, and personalized care for every patient!

To add an extra dash of excitement, we also hosted an interactive mini pharmacy quiz for our outpatient stakeholders and colleagues. There were fantastic prizes to choose from, plenty of laughs, and—best of all—valuable knowledge shared along the way!

Thank you to everyone who joined us, shared the joy, and helped us celebrate our profession. Here’s to building a healthier future, together!

🏆 Quiz Bee Champions! 🏆

In conjunction with the World Patient Safety Day celebration of the Department of Health (DOH), themed “Care for Noncommunicable Diseases,” APMC-Aklan Inc. held its first-ever World Patient Safety Day Quiz Bee—and Team Red Synergy, represented by our Pharmacy block, emerged victorious!

Our lovely pharmacists—Sherlene, Kathleen, and Patricia—nabbed the crown like the queens they are! 👑💊✨

The quiz bee was a wonderful showcase of the beauty, brilliance, and teamwork of our Pharmacy Team. Patient safety is, after all, no stranger to our profession—it is deeply rooted in our practice, training, and curriculum.

The entire Pharmacy Department is immensely proud of this remarkable achievement and the incredible teamwork behind it. Congratulations, ladies! You truly made us proud! 🩷
