Chest X-Ray Setup
1. Position the patient correctly — Align and prepare the patient in the proper stance for the X-ray.
2. Position the X-ray machine — The radiologic technologist adjusts and aligns the machine to the exact position needed relative to the patient to get a clear, properly focused image.
3. Give breathing and movement instructions — Tell the patient:
"Take a deep breath, hold it, and do not move"
4. Expose and capture the image — Activate the machine to take the X-ray
