Here is the total recommended hours of sleep per 24-hour period (including naps)
Infants (4 to 12 mos): 12 to 16 hrs
Toddlers (1 to 2 y/o): 11 to 14 hrs
Preschoolers (3 to 5 y/o): 10 to 13 hrs
School-Aged Children (6 to 12 y/o): 9 to 12 hrs
Teenagers (13 to 18 y/o): 8 to 10 hrs
