When a child acts out, they are rarely just trying to cause trouble or "seek attention." More often, they are seeking connection or expressing a big emotion that they don't yet have the words to explain. Behavior is a form of communication. When we respond with patience instead of frustration, we help children feel heard and safe.

The umbilical stump naturally dries up, turns black, and falls off on its own within one to three weeks. In fact, wrapping a binder tightly around a baby's abdomen can trap moisture, cause skin irritation, and restrict their normal chest and belly movement during breathing.
