A Gentle Reminder to All Mommies and Daddies! πŸ’™

Since the beginning of October, I have been seeing an increasing number of children in my clinic with flu-like symptoms and pneumonia. What concerns me most is that many of these children have incomplete pneumococcal vaccinations, while others have not yet received their annual flu vaccine.

As a pediatrician, I always remind parents that prevention is better than cure. πŸ’‰

Vaccination is one of the best ways to protect our little ones against serious vaccine-preventable infections and their complications.

πŸ“’ GOOD NEWS! FREE PNEUMOCOCCAL VACCINE (PCV) IS STILL AVAILABLE IN MY CLINIC!

This is intended for eligible babies who have not yet completed their primary PCV vaccination at the health center.

πŸ“… Wednesday to Saturday
⏰ 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM

πŸ“ž For appointments, message or call 0935 003 0796.

Please bring your baby’s vaccination record (baby book).

Remember, the pneumococcal vaccine helps protect against certain causes of pneumonia, while the flu vaccine helps protect against influenza complications Both are important in keeping our children healthy.

Let’s protect our little ones before they get sick. πŸ’™

Japan saw the average number of influenza patients jump to 11.35 per clinic for the week through Oct. 4, the health ministry said, causing people to rush to get flu shots as an unusually early season hits the country.

HELLO, MGA MOMMIES AND DADDIES!

Usong-uso gid subong ang ubo kag sipon!

Damo kita subong sang mga bata nga nagakabalatian sang flu-like symptoms.

HERE ARE SOME TIPS TO PROTECT YOUR CHILDREN!

1. Get vaccinated!

2. Practice proper handwashing.
Turuan ang mga bata nga maghugas sang kamot gamit ang sabon kag tubig, especially before eating and after coughing or sneezing.

3. Avoid close contact with sick individuals.

4. Stay home when sick.

5. Keep rooms well-ventilated.
Open windows when possible para may maayo nga airflow. Avoid crowded and poorly ventilated places.

6. Healthy food, enough sleep, and hydration!

7. Practice proper cough etiquette.
Cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing, preferably using tissue or your elbow.

WHEN SHOULD YOU CONSULT YOUR PEDIATRICIAN?

Kung ang bata may:
❗ Difficulty breathing or fast breathing
❗ Persistent or worsening fever
❗ Poor feeding or signs of dehydration
❗ Unusual sleepiness or lethargy
❗ Symptoms that improve but suddenly worsen

REMEMBER, MOMMIES AND DADDIES!

πŸ’‰ PREVENTION IS ALWAYS BETTER THAN CURE!

Kung wala pa nabakunahan ang inyong anak, FLU VACCINE IS AVAILABLE AT OUR CLINIC!

Let’s protect our little ones! πŸ’™
