💙 TAOS-PUSONG PASASALAMAT SA MGA MAGULANG AT TAGAPAG-ALAGA! 💙

Ang Rhu Prieto Diaz at Calao Barangay Health Station ay taos-pusong nagpapasalamat sa lahat ng mga magulang at tagapag-alaga na nagbigay ng pahintulot at suporta upang mabakunahan ang kanilang mga anak sa isinagawang School-Based Immunization (SBI) Program.

na kung saan nakatangap ng bakuna ang mag aaral ng
✅Grade 1 &Grade 7 - MR &TD ( Kuntra Tigdas,/Tigdas Hangin at kuntra Tetanus Diphtheria
✅ Grade 4&5 Na Babae (HPV- Human Papillomavirus vaccine - Kuntra Cervical Cancer)

Ang inyong tiwala at pakikiisa ay malaking tulong upang maprotektahan ang ating mga anak laban sa mga sakit na maaaring maiwasan sa pamamagitan ng pagbabakuna.

Taos-puso rin kaming nagpapasalamat sa mga school administrators, School Heads Principal g**o, / class advisers na laging nariyan simula hangang matapos at katulong namin sa pagpalaganap ng Tamang impormasyon patungkol sa bakuna.
Sa BHW at sa lahat ng tumulong upang maging matagumpay ang gawaing ito salamatonon po 🥰🥰.

Tandaan: Ang pagbabakuna ay proteksyon para sa ating mga anak. Ang batang bakunado ay batang protektado! 💉💪

🦟Dengue Vector Surveillance
📍 Barangay Calao, Prieto Diaz, Sorsogon

The Barangay Calao Health Station, in collaboration with the Barangay Officials and the Rural Health Unit of Prieto Diaz , conducted Dengue Vector Surveillance covering seven (7) puroks, with a total of 100 households included in the activity.

✅This initiative aims to strengthen community participation in dengue prevention and control by identifying possible mosquito breeding sites, assessing household surroundings, and promoting proper environmental sanitation.

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all the Barangay Officials, headed by Rey E. Llona secretary Willie Esacario Bing Doroliat especially the Kagawads Maribel Domdom Delfin Eden Deuna and Barangay Tanods, for their active participation, cooperation, and support throughout this activity.

Our sincere appreciation also goes to the Barangay Health Workers (BHWs), Jiesamae Ollet Eva Grimaldo Maria Luz Haway Doroliat Castañeda Marife Nancy Camar Donna Deniega Barrameda Human Resources for Health (HRH) personnel, nurses, and midwives all Calaonon for their dedication, teamwork, and commitment to protecting the health and safety of the community.

Your valuable contributions demonstrate that dengue prevention is a shared responsibility. Through our collective efforts, we can help reduce mosquito breeding sites, promote a healthier environment, and protect every family in Barangay Calao from dengue.

📍SCHOOL-BASED IMMUNIZATION (SBI) ORIENTATION AT Calao Elementary School CALAO NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL 💉

The School-Based Immunization (SBI) Orientation was successfully conducted at CALAO ELEMENTARY SCHOOL AND CALAO NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL to provide learners, parents, and school personnel with essential information on the importance of vaccination in preventing vaccine-preventable diseases and protecting children’s health.

The orientation covered Measles-Rubella (MR) and Tetanus-Diphtheria (Td) vaccines for Grades 1 and 7, and the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine for Grades 4 and 5, including their importance in promoting the health and well-being of schoolchildren.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our resource speakers Nurse Lelet Abiera Doroliat and , Sir Jeo Emaas for sharing Thier. knowledge and expertise during the orientation.

We also express our heartfelt appreciation to Calao National High School headed by Sir Ramilo G. Furaque, and Calao Elementary School Sir Aldrin Estipona special thanks to sir Robert Failagmao and all the adviser of Grade 1&4&5 Grade 7 for their warm welcome, support, and valuable coordination in ensuring the successful conduct of this activity.

Together, let us protect our learners and build a healthier school community through vaccination.

ZERO OPEN DEFECATION VALIDATION 🪠🚽

Today, I witnessed how the Barangay Calao officials came together, worked hard, and gave their best to make sure we would pass the validation.
Sadly, we did not pass. But one thing is certain all our efforts were not wasted. ❤️
Through collective efforts, we were able to reach and protect many families and individuals from water-borne and mosquito-borne diseases, especially Dengue, simply by keeping our surroundings clean Health Education and practicing proper prevention.
A heartfelt thank you to all our Barangay Officials, BHWs, Barangay Tanods, and most especially to every household who participated in the cleanup, segregated their waste, and practiced Taob, Taktak, Tuyo, at Takip.
We may not have passed the validation today, but we did something more important we worked together to protect our community. 💚
Padagos lang, Calaonon! One effort, one community, one goal: a cleaner and healthier Calao. 💪🧹🦟

They are the people who choose to help, give their time, and become a reason why someone may continue to live and breathe. ❤️
A heartfelt THANK YOU to all our blood donors, especially our fellow Calaonon, who, despite their busy schedules, still made time to be there and extend a helping hand.
Your simple act of donating blood can make a life-changing difference to someone in need.
