I used to think that learning more meant doing more. Now I see it differently. The more I learn, the more selective I become.
Lymphatic Drainage is one of the foundations of my practice, but I never wanted my work to fit into just one box. Over the years, I’ve studied different manual techniques, therapeutic approaches, and complementary modalities, not because I want to use everything on everyone, but because I want to have more ways to understand what each person actually needs.
Every body is different. Some come to me for wellness, while others are navigating post surgical recovery, pregnancy and postpartum changes, edema, fibrosis, pain, tissue changes, TMJ concerns, or other clinical needs. And the person in front of me determines how I work.
Sometimes Lymphatic Drainage is the foundation. Sometimes sculpting, facial work, or intra oral work has a place. Sometimes another modality may be appropriate. And sometimes, the best choice is knowing when not to add another treatment.
For me, whole body care is not about having a long list of treatments. It is about knowing how to assess, choose, apply, and reassess with intention.
The more I learn, the more choices I have. But clinical reasoning tells me which choice belongs to the person in front of me, on that particular day.
Lymphatic Drainage is part of my foundation. Knowledge expands my toolbox. The client determines how I use it.
That is how I practice today. And that is what Beyond Dentistry. Whole Body Care. means to me.
