𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸; 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼𝗼 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆!

This Costume Week, our Happy Nest team had just as much fun stepping into character for From Screen to Scene.

So much creativity, teamwork, laughter, and heart went into making the week extra special for our Nestlings.

Maybe that’s part of what keeps play alive at Happy Nest, too. Our grown-ups get to imagine, create, be silly, and let their own ideas run wild right alongside the kids. ✨

We’re raising children in a fast-paced world.

There are therapy goals, school expectations, routines, appointments, milestones, and always something else to work on.

And while all of these can matter…𝗷𝗼𝘆 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝘁𝗼𝗼.

The laughter, the silliness, the shared interests, the moments when a child asks for “again! again!” or lights up because we joined their world—these are not wasted moments.

𝘏𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘪 𝘴𝘢 𝘭𝘢𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘳𝘢𝘴 𝘬𝘢𝘪𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘢𝘨-“𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮” 𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘣𝘢𝘵𝘢.

Therapy can still challenge, teach, and support new skills while making room for connection and delight.

Our children deserve to experience not only:

“People are helping me grow.”

but also:

“People genuinely enjoy being with me.” 💛

In all our effort to prepare children for what comes next, may we still make room to enjoy who they are right now.

In honor of National Teachers’ Day, we’re celebrating our Happy Nest teachers with a fun little game.

Before they became the teachers our Nestlings know and love, they were little ones too, already showing glimpses of the playfulness, curiosity, warmth, and personality that make them who they are today.

𝗖𝗮𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗴𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗼’𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗼?

How to join:
🐥 Guess the teacher in each childhood photo.
🐥 Use the name list to help you out.
🐥 Send your complete answers in the comments or via Happy Nest Front Desk Messenger.

Prizes:
🐥 The first 2 families with the highest scores will each win 1 FREE therapy session from their child’s ongoing therapy service.
🐥 Bonus: All other families who also reach the highest score by October 7, 5 PM will be included in a draw for 1 more FREE therapy session.

After a year of intensive learning, Teacher Pia Macapagal RSLP has completed the MED-EL Accreditation for Hearing Implant Rehabilitation Therapists, with commencement held last September 18–20, 2026.

Behind this milestone is something bigger: more specialized hearing rehabilitation knowledge brought closer to Filipino children and families, with support that goes beyond how a child hears to how they connect, communicate, participate, and belong.

For more Filipino children to be heard, understood, and given every chance to thrive. Para sa bayan.

Congratulations, Teacher Pie. May this learning reach far beyond the clinic and into many more homes and communities. 💛

Your child may be crying or reacting more because they’re beginning to notice and feel more, too. 💛

As children develop, they become more aware of what they feel, want, and don’t want, even before they have the skills to fully handle or communicate it.

So instead of only asking, “Bakit mas iyakin siya ngayon?” we can also wonder:

“Ano kaya ang mas napapansin at nararamdaman niya, pero hindi pa niya kayang sabihin?”

This is where we come in, not just to stop the crying, but to understand, support, and help them communicate.

Of course, increased crying can also signal pain, illness, fatigue, fear, or overwhelm, especially when it is sudden or persistent.

If your child needs more support along the way, we’re here to figure it out with you. 💛

You can love your child deeply and still feel exhausted by caregiving. Both can be true. 💛

Exhaustion can look like irritability, guilt, pulling away from others, or feeling like there is very little of “you” left outside of caregiving.

These feelings do not mean you love your child any less. They may be signs that you’ve been carrying too much for too long.

From our Ako Naman Muna workshop with Dr. Frances Tamayo: make space for yourself, build a strong support system, and seek professional support when you need it.

𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗽𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱’𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲. 𝗜𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗲.

You and your child both deserve support. 🤍

If things feel too heavy, the NCMH Crisis Hotline offers free, confidential, 24/7 support: 1800-1888-1553.
