🦟🚫 DENGUE MISTING ACTIVITY | BRGY. SANTIAGO, SOLSONA, ILOCOS NORTE 🏥🌿

As part of our continuing efforts to prevent the spread of Dengue, the Rural Health Unit (RHU) Solsona - Sanitation Inspector, in coordination with the Barangay Council of Barangay Santiago, Solsona Ilocos Norte, conducted a dengue misting activity in Brgy. Santiago, Solsona, Ilocos Norte.
This activity aims to help reduce the population of mosquitoes and minimize the risk of dengue transmission in the community. 🦟❌

We extend our sincere appreciation to the Barangay Officials, health workers, and community members of Barangay Santiago, Solsona Ilocos Norte for their cooperation and support in promoting a safer and healthier community. 🤝💚

🦟 DENGUE PREVENTION THROUGH COMMUNITY ACTION! 🧹🌿

Barangay Santiago conducted a Operation Taktak as part of its ongoing efforts to prevent dengue and promote a clean, safe, and healthy environment.

This initiative aims to eliminate potential mosquito breeding sites by clearing overgrown vegetation, removing scattered waste, and maintaining cleanliness in public areas and surroundings.

💚 Let us work together to fight dengue!

Remember the 4S Kontra Dengue:
✅ Search and destroy mosquito breeding places.
✅ Secure self-protection by using mosquito repellents and wearing protective clothing.
✅ Seek early consultation if symptoms of dengue appear.

🦟 FOGGING ACTIVITY CONDUCTED IN SITIO SADIRI, BRGY. JUAN, SOLSONA, ILOCOS NORTE

As part of the Municipality of Solsona’s continued efforts to protect the community from mosquito-borne diseases, a fogging activity was conducted in Sitio Sadiri, Barangay Juan, Solsona, Ilocos Norte.

The activity aims to help reduce the population of adult mosquitoes in the area and support ongoing dengue prevention and control efforts.

In coordination with the Barangay Council of Barangay Manalpac, Solsona, Ilocos Norte, conducted a dengue coordination activity to strengthen community awareness and preparedness in preventing the spread of dengue together with the Sanitation Inspector and DOH-NHWSS with Level IV Nursing students from Department of Nursing, College of Health Sciences of Mariano Marcos State University.

The activity focused on discussing important dengue prevention measures, identifying possible mosquito breeding sites and promoting active participation of the community in maintaining a clean and safe environment.

The Solsona Primary Care Facility conducted a Health Education Session on Dengue Prevention through the initiative of the BSN IV-B GROUP 2 Nursing Students of Department of Nursing - MMSU College of Health Sciences 🩺👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️
