🌿 580,000 of food and beverage cartons. That's how much Western Visayas has recovered through Tetra Pak's Cartons for Communities program - and counting.​

Since expanding here in 2025, the initiative has grown to engage 25 local government units across six provinces, 14 schools, and 24 commercial establishments; all working together to make food and beverage carton collection part of everyday life in Western Visayas. ​

Behind the numbers: local governments, collection and recycling partners like Justine's Recycling, schools, and businesses all playing a part in keeping valuable materials in circulation instead of in landfills.​

More progress in our circularity journey ♻️​

In 2025, the certified recycled polymer content linked to our production increased by 6% compared with 2024, marking further progress in our efforts to incorporate more recycled materials into our packages.​

We also introduced a world-first paper barrier for juice packages, delivering a 43% lower carbon footprint compared with an aseptic carton package using an aluminium foil layer.​

Alongside these innovations, approximately 1.3 million tonnes of food and beverage cartons were collected and sent for recycling globally in 2025, representing an estimated 27% global collection-for-recycling rate.​

Every improvement brings us one step closer to keeping valuable packaging materials in use and supporting a more circular future.​
