Behind every beautiful bride, there is often someone working quietly behind the scenes. 🤍
As dermatologists, we are fortunate to be part of a bride’s journey for months before her big day. From improving skin quality and pigmentation to facial contouring and other personalised treatments, we work patiently to help her look and feel her absolute best.
Recently, I watched a beautiful wedding celebration where everyone involved was generously acknowledged — the makeup artist, jeweller, decorator, event team and so many others who contributed to making the occasion special. And rightly so. Every contribution deserves appreciation.
We are not expecting a social-media tag, public praise or acknowledgement. In fact, we completely understand that some things are meant to remain private, and perhaps there is a desire to make the final look appear effortless and natural.
But sometimes, after investing months of professional care, a simple “Thank you, doctor” in a personal conversation means more than a hundred social-media tags.
This is not about one bride or one family. This is something we experience often in our practice. So many brides come to us months before their wedding and undergo our bridal skin and aesthetic programmes. We put in our knowledge, time, patience and genuine care to help them feel confident on one of the most important days of their lives.
We never expect anything in return — no publicity, no tagging, no promotion.
Just a little personal appreciation.
Because behind every transformation is a professional who quietly cared enough to make it happen. And sometimes, even a small acknowledgement makes that person feel seen. 🤍
