26 ستمبر 2026 کو دنیا بھر کی طرح پاکستان میں بھی ’’لائف سیورز ڈے‘‘ منایا گیا۔ اس موقع پر پیما (PIMA) اور الخدمت کراچی شعبہ صحت کے زیر اہتمام کراچی کے مختلف مقامات پر ’’لائف سیورز ٹریننگ پروگرامز‘‘ منعقد کیے گئے، جن میں شہریوں، رضاکاروں اور طبی عملے کو فرسٹ ایڈ اور CPR کی تربیت دی گئی۔

الخدمت کراچی ہیلتھ سروسز کے ڈائریکٹر ڈاکٹر ثاقب حسین انصاری نے کہا کہ دل کے دورے اور کارڈیک اریسٹ کے زیادہ تر واقعات گھروں، دفاتر یا راہ چلتے پیش آتے ہیں۔ اگر ہر شخص CPR سیکھ لے تو ایمبولینس پہنچنے سے پہلے مریض کی جان بچائی جا سکتی ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ پیما اور الخدمت گزشتہ 4 سال سے یہ پروگرام کر رہی ہیں اور ہزاروں افراد تربیت حاصل کر چکے ہیں۔

عوام کی بڑی تعداد نے شرکت کی اور ایسے پروگرام پبلک مقامات پر دوبارہ کرنے کی درخواست کی۔ ڈاکٹر ثاقب نے عوام سے اپیل کی کہ CPR کی تربیت ہر شخص کو سیکھنی چاہیے، کیونکہ یہ ہر گھر کی ضرورت ہے۔
